Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Facial Firming Serum

have dry skin and my face can literally flake during the winter so I bought it 2 months ago when winter finally starts in Melbourne. I've never heard someone recommended the product, but I love the brand so I figure why not.  I use it after face wash, before mostuirizer (day and night),3-5 drops. So surprisingly, it's not as thick as I've expected. It absorps so easily which is super amazing. It does leave a bit of oily look after you put it on, so make sure you have a matte mostuirizer (I use Jurlique day cream, most of Jurlique day creams have a matte finish). It doesn't have a smell, which I think is quite a pro which means it doesn't have perfume in it. The drawbacks however is since it's an oil, it will leave your face looking slightly oily and YELLOW. I was surprised with this as all of facial oils that I tried never leave a yellow trace. Also, while it does mostuirise, it doesn't work that well, I don't think I would recommend this to anyone.

Leaves a bit of a residue on my skin, feels tacky / sticky to touch. The smell is unpleasant but not too strong and I got used to it after a couple of weeks. Quite a heavy serum, though it does have a good hydrating effect. I used this for 4 months but didn't see or feel any other difference in my skin other than more hydration.
