QV Face Gentle Cleanser

I’ve been really impressed with QV Face Gentle Cleanser. It’s incredibly gentle on the skin while still leaving my face feeling clean and refreshed. I have sensitive skin and often find that some cleansers can leave my skin feeling tight, dry, or irritated, but this product does none of that. It cleans effectively without stripping away moisture. I was so happy with the results that I also started using it on my son, who has very sensitive skin and tends to react to many other face washes. Thankfully, QV Face Gentle Cleanser has been well tolerated and hasn’t caused any irritation or redness. It’s become a staple in our household because it’s reliable, gentle, and suitable for sensitive skin. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mild, fragrance-free cleanser that works without causing irritation.

This is a good cleanser. It’s extremely gentle which is good for people who have sensitive skin. I did find that it was maybe too gentle as i didn’t feel like it was cleaning my skin. I had very very light makeup which took 3 washes to completely come out. Despite this, i do think it is still a good cleanser for when you are not wearing anything on your face or if you are having breakouts. The packaging is also good with a solid pump which i appreciate. I would recommend this to people with sensitive skin.

I only wish this came in a bigger bottle because I love it so much. I’ve always struggled with acne and recently experienced a bit of an acne outbreak so changing to this cleanser has been super helpful for my skin. I needed something with simple cleaning ingredients and this was exactly what I needed. It’s not too heavy, with its super light milky texture that lathers quite nicely on the skin I was able to cleanse my face without overstepping the oils. And I have noticed my acne is starting to clear up since changing to this which is really good. I like how it comes in a pump it feels super sanitary when I am trying to wash my face in the shower. I really like how this is not inflaming my already super sensitive skin and feels like it is helping to support my skin barrier.

This is a great milky feel cleanser. As it says it is quite gentle so nice for end of day. I did find that i needed to double cleanse to remove the days makeup completely but as a gentle cleanser it doesnt feel that it is stripping away too much. As a milky cleanser it does not lather up which may be off putting for some but once you realise it is not supposed to it is ok. Its a good size pump bottle so easy to use. After use, it leaves your skin feeling clean without feeling dried out I would purchase again.

I have actually switched my regular face wash for this. I absolutely love the hydrating feel that it gives when it is on my skin, it feels like it is very gently washing away the day including any remnants of make-up that I may have. The product itself comes in a very easy to use and good quality pump style bottle. The pump effortlessly measures out the correct amount for you to use to wash your face and neck. The formula is so nice and creamy, it glides on the skin and gives a feel of supreme hydration. It is the kind of product that you want to leave on your face for that little bit longer to get the maximum hydration.

I got to use this product as part of the Review Crew. I really liked the creamy consistency of this face wash, it didn’t leave my face feeling tight. I have combination skin and since hitting perimenopause I have found my skin is having random dry days. This face wash was good for that as it didn’t feel like it was stripping my skin on those delicate dry face days when a cleanser for oily skin was a bit too harsh. I found too that it didn’t break me out which can be a downside of creamy cleansers that are designed for dry skin when I have tried them in the past. I would say though follow the instructions because I found that it would leave a slight tacky texture on my face which I didn’t like, but after a few time I realised I was putting it straight on my face and not lathering it in my hands first once I did that properly i found it worked really well.

This cleanser is the best no frills cleanser out there. You can't beat it for gentle hydrating cleanse which will not irritate your skin. I have super sensitive dry skin that always reacts to everything except this. I actually feel clean without feeling like a tight stripped mask of a face. Creamy texture that feels good going on and easy to rinse off. No overpowering scent and no harsh chemical smell and doesnt hurt it to get in your eyes. You can clean off your eye make up with ease and without any concerns about blinding yourself.

This cleanser is perfect for the whole family. It’s a great and affordable soap free and fragrance option and perfect for anybody with sensitive skin or who just wants a simple product. It’s works well, leaving the fave feeling clean and refreshed without the tight and stripped feeling and works perfectly for anytime. Love that’s pH balanced and the addition of vitamin E which is great for antioxidants. Great product that’s also non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested so you can have a peace of mind that you’re doing the write thigh for your skin when purchasing

I had high hopes for the QV Face Gentle Cleanser because of its reputation for being suitable for sensitive skin, but unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. After using it only twice, I decided to stop altogether. I personally didn’t enjoy the texture, which felt unpleasant on my skin and didn’t leave me with that clean, refreshed feeling I usually look for in a facial cleanser. Another downside for me was the smell. Although it is marketed as a gentle product, I found the scent off-putting and it made the overall experience less enjoyable. Skincare is something I use every day, so texture and sensory experience are important factors, and this cleanser simply didn’t work for my preferences. It may suit others who are looking for a very mild cleanser, but based on my experience, I won’t be reaching for it again and don’t see myself repurchasing it in the future. Unfortunately, this product was a miss for me :(

This is a pretty good creamy cleanser, however i don't think this product is for me. It's incredibly gentle on the skin - perhaps too gentle for makeup, but great for sensitive skin. It's also very moisturising and i can imagine many people with dry skin especially during winter would love this product. I found however that it left the feeling of a film on my skin after washing it off which i didn't particularly like. I prefer my cleansers to wash off and use a moisturiser rather than have what feels like cleanser that won't come off my face. That being said i have eczema prone skin, and i used it in the shower kind of like a soap for my arms and legs where i'd normally get eczema and it was great - so if not for the face i think its worthwhile for the body - especially during dry winter months.

The mildly foaming texture made this cleanser pleasant to use, providing a more satisfying experience compared with non-foaming formulas. However, while it is fragrance free, it is not completely scent free, with a noticeable petroleum-like scent that was quite off putting during use. Aside from the scent, the formulation was gentle and hydrating, leaving skin feeling soft, comfortable and moisturised after cleansing. However, it did not give the sensation of a thorough cleanse, particularly when removing makeup. It worked better as a second cleanser after oil cleansing, especially around the eye area where makeup removal was less effective. Overall, this was a gentle and moisturising cleanser suitable for sensitive skin, but the lingering scent and limited cleansing ability meant there are other fragrance-free hydrating cleansers available that would be worth recommending first.

Here's a storytime about this product. I was using a tretinoin based product and despite washing it off my face, decided to wax my upper lip. Bad idea because for the first time ever I had an adverse reaction and my skin got burnt. What was my saving grace? this cleanser! Smooth, soft, non scented and perfectly gentle. This was the only product that didn't cause more stinging, if anything it felt soothing. All this to say, you don't have to burn your skin to enjoy this! I enjoyed it when my skin felt normal too, and i think it is true to it's word, very gentle! This has made me curious about the rest of the QV line and I'd be keen to have something similar as a body wash, because of how smooth and gentle it is. Highly recommend.

This QV Gentle Cleanser is a fantastic product to prepare my skin in the mornings and at the end of the day to wash away impurities. I love its effective way of hydrating my skin and keeping it feeling fresh while dirt is nicely removed. A few pumps were all that was required to have a creamy product that was gentle enough for my skin. Even though it doesn’t necessarily lather up in a soapy way, its creamy, nourishing texture was beautiful in making my skin feel replenished. My natural oils didn’t feel like they were stripped away and it also felt like the formulation was protecting my skin, especially some dry areas which were nicely moisturized after washing. This is one of my new favourite cleansing products which I highly recommend.

I have combination\oily sensitive skin. This cleanser gives me mixed feelings. I know it's best not to over-cleanse and chase that squeaky clean feeling and.. it will not make my face squeaky clean. After cleansing my face feels like i already moisturised a little bit and that makes me paranoid. Did i get enough oils off? Is this going to cause a breakout? Are the products I apply going to be absorbed well? It feels very nice. It's probably what my skin needs and wants. The ingredients are great. It's unscented. But I can still feel it after I washed it off. If you've been wearing makeup or sunscreen all day, I think you will need to use something extra to remove those first. I think this can be a good morning cleanser for people who can tolerate the "moisturised" feeling better. It's also a good winter option. Perhaps in a simple cleanser + moisturiser routine it could really shine.
