Revlon Photoready Insta-Filter Foundation

I was not expecting much when I bought this foundation but I knew I was tired of the kind that I had before. Application has always been a hassle for me and finding something that covers my acne well is never easy. I took a risk and bought this foundation (I have major allergy problems on my face and many foundations have a tendency to cause irritation and rashes) I love the sponge application, it makes it so simple! My only complaints are: that the large applicator makes it difficult to get into the creases under and around my eyes, but that's something easily fixed by using another tiny sponge, brush, finger, etc. and also that quite a bit of the product probably gets soaked into the sponge, however, given the quality, that's something I can live with. It stayed on all day, and not a single sign of irritation by the end of the day! I've never gotten compliments on my skin before but since I started using this, someone I see frequently told me that my skin looked incredibly clear! The tone matches my face perfectly. I will be using this for quite some time! I highly recommend this product, it really does make you insta photo ready!

I was a bit skeptical at how pricy this foundation was, given that it's not a high-end brand. But after trying it out, I take back any misgivings I initially had. This product really does work, it provides a natural, but full coverage and looks dewy and non-caky on my skin. It also, most importantly, doesn't feel caky, thick or papery on my face and is instead quite a lightweight, breathable formula. You can even build it up if you like, and it still remains nice and natural looking. The foundation is lightly hydrating and creamy, and gives a nice satin-matte finish so your face looks dewy but not oily.  This does a great job of brightening up my dull complexion. I'm not sure if it has made a difference in photos, but that's not a huge issue anyway. The sponge applicator is nice and soft and makes it easy to apply onto my skin. I know that some people don't like sponge applicators, and truthfully they're not entirely hygienic, but they do make for extremely convenient application on the go. The only con would be that this foundation doesn't last for the whole day. Because of how lightweight it is, it does wear away throughout the day, but reapplication is easy so not too big of a problem! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a more natural, medium-coverage foundation that mimics natural skin.

This is a really beautiful foundation. I love reckon products and this foundation gives a great natural coverage that does not feel heavy, just nice and light and it looks really natural.a medium coverage, it covers imperfections and blurs the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. I love the sponge tip applicator for ease of use, it makes application quick and easy and the product blends really well. The foundation gives my skin lovely colour and a nice glow and I find it lasts really well without going oily. I recommend using a good primer and moisturiser first to create a nice base for the product to blend on. Packaged nicely and great value this reckon foundation is a great buy with great results and I would recommend it.
