La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mineral Compact Foundation

This is a great powder foundation that provides even, smooth coverage without causing irritation. I purchased one of these  during a half price sale, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable and non-drying powder foundations I've ever tried. I usually try to avoid powder foundations but this one has a soft, creamy texture that glides onto the skin and doesn't cake or accentuate my fine lines. The powder itself is quite pigmented and I find when I want less coverage it looks most natural when I apply it with a kabuki or powder brush. It also applies evenly and naturally with the round sponge included in the compact case.  The main positives about this product are that it primarily contains mineral pigments and therefore provides good SPF protection too. It also doesn't have a noticeable fragrance so my skin doesn't turn red or itchy. I also find it provides medium to full coverage that lasts most of the day, and does a good job covering any redness and imperfections. The only main disadvantage is the limited choice of lighter shades, and the colours do look slightly orange on me. I will however purchase this powder in the future mainly because it provides good sun protection and isn't drying like most powder foundations. For this reason, I think it would be suitable for all skin type, even slightly drier skin types could probably wear this powder foundation pretty comfortably. 

A five star product from La Roche Prosay! I was given this Teint Mineral Compact Foundation from my sister because she used it and loved it so much. This mineral powder foundation has a medium coverage on my face and the powder is so fine and smooth which doesn't exaggerate my large pores. The powder foundation settles to a matte finish but doesn't dry out my skin at all. The powder foundation didn't sink into the fine lines area my eye areas which I was very surprised. The packaging and size is extremely handy for travelling or in the makeup bag.

What a little powerhouse of a product. Again, I’m  new to thes product but a friend introduced me to it. Knowing that I have sensitive skin and am prone to redness, she knew I would like this product for it’s good coverage. She was percent right. It goes on easily, doesn’t clog your skin or look thick and blotchy. It provides a light even protection for my face and removes shine. I have become addicted to a little blot of this throughout the day.

WOW! There is so much to love about this Teint Mineral powder foundation. I hadn't tried this brand before and won the product in a goodies pack. The colour I have is light beige which suits my colouring perfectly. The compact is very smart, elegant black with a mirror and in a separate section there is a very nice sponge for application. I personally prefer a brush for foundation and powder application but the sponge is handy for those quick touch-ups.  I couldn't detect any scent to irritate and the product itself has a quality look and feel.  What really attracted me was the generous SPF 25 skin protection and that this product is specifically designed for normal to combination sensitive skin, this is a winning combination. The powder itself applied beautifully it grabbed to my brush, so soft and fine and covered all my age spots and freckles leaving a flawless finish. The coverage lasted all day for me and my skin didn't feel dry or cakey or look blotchy. I have only tested this product in the cooler months so will be interested to see how it performs in the summer and if it meets my different skins needs when I'm hot and sweaty. Overall I love this product, its a great price, perfect handbag companion and suits most skin types.

I am really impressed with this compact mineral foundation, which provides good coverage and doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. I have only ever used La Roche-Posay sunscreens and have found their products suitable for my somewhat sensitive skin. I decided to purchase this powder foundation as it’s specifically designed for sensitive, reactive skin types. I do tend to get red cheeks, especially during winter when I’m sitting near a heater for most of the day! This powder helps cover and neutralise any redness and leaves my combination skin looking matte and fresh all day. It has a good quality sponge that helps apply the powder naturally and evenly.  I usually use a colour neutralising primer to minisise redness and then gently pat this powder foundation on my face, after I use my concealer. I find the product is quite pigmented so there’s no need to layer or cake this power on to give good coverage. The shade Light Beige suits my skin tone the most, although there really isn’t a huge choice of shades available. I also carry this compact in my handbag in case I need to reapply during the day. My favourite thing about this powder is that it’s mineral based, although it contains talc, it’s still less irritating than many other powder foundations I’ve tried. I can even apply this after I’ve had skin treatments and peels and it doesn’t cause any extra irritation at all.  I will definitely be repurchasing this compact powder foundation as it suits my skin very well and isn’t too pricey. I would recommend this powder for sensitive, oily skin types. 

This is a great compact mineral foundation for sensitive skin. I love this brand, for those who have never tried la Roche posey it's fantastic quality and gives professional results. This mineral foundation has a high quality pigment and because it's preservative free is ideal for sensitive skin. The 100 per cent mineral pigment gives a great coverage minimising pores and fine lines and hiding skin flaws and imperfections for a flawless radiant finish. This is a great product for oily skin, (I have an oily t-zone as it does not add oil and stays matte all day, it won't clog pores or  go cakey. The compact is so luxe love the classic black case and addition of a mirror for touchups. The sponge works really well for blending and it smells really nice. At under $49.00 it's great value I love this so much and highly recommend it.
