Maybelline New York Master Precise Skinny Liner

This Master Precise Skinny Liner is my best friend all year around especially during summer because it doesn't smudge or flake at all. This eyeliner is super fine and smooth which is super easy to apply a fine and precise line on my water lines. The colour is super pigmented with lasts throughout the day. Great quality, super affordable, can't ask for more!

Maybelline never fails to impress me with its products and this one was no exception.  I generally use a pencil eyeliner but gave this one a try when I received it in a goody bag a while back. The color is much bolder than I am used to and the eyeliner pencil itself is the slimmest I have ever used allowing for easy application of thin,distinct lines above and below my lashline.  Most eyeliners end up smudged everywhere on me after a few hours wear and give me watery,irritated eyes. This was not the case with this one. It stayed put all day long and is actually quite a challenge to remove at night without a proper eye makeup remover. Such a pretty eyeliner pen that makes eye makeup application an absolute breeze. I love that it doesnt need to be sharpened ever either as I'm always misplacing my sharpener!

Actually, the staying power is surprisingly goodfor an eye pencil and I only noticed it smudged on a really hot humid summerday here in QLD. The shade is true black, it actually looks like a liquideyeliner on the eye but since it is so much easier to apply, it is evenbetter.  The Skinny Liner does save a lot of time and if you do the schoolrun in the morning but still want to have an impeccable eye make up, this oneis your saviour. This was the first time I had ever used a gel eyeliner pencil before and I didn't even realise it was a gel until I first used it and realised it didn't smudge!  I was trying to create a smokey eye and when I went to go smudge the colour out it wouldn't budge!  Like, at all.  It was as if it was permanently stuck there.  I was really confused and then I  looked at the pencil again and realised it was a gel eyeliner and was seriously amazed by how pigmented and strong it was.  Safe to say it wasn't good for a smokey eye but it was great for lots of other things.  The skinny eyeliner is exactly like it says, skinny.  It's a very fine yet creamy gel pencil that you do not need to sharpen.  All you have to do is twist the bottom of the pencil and it comes up automatically. So simple!  The benefits of having something so thin is that it's very precise so you can get it close to your lash line.  This is perfect for the days when I'm going to work and I want to have a bit of eyeliner without having to use my liquid pen.  I find that using my liquid eyeliner takes a lot more effort but using the gel pencil is much easier and I don't make any mistakes with it.  It glides on so easily and it would create a thin, black line for my everyday professional look. I'm not even the best when it comes to using pencil but with this it was virtually impossible to make a mistake with it.  I even got my mum to use and she barely wears much makeup and she found it so easy to use.  You could even create a winged eye with it.  I would just gently use the gel pencil to trace an outline and then fill it in with the pencil. Filling the outline in with the gel was easy and it didn't flake at all.  I sometimes get eyeliner fallout on my face that ends up leave black spots but with this I had nothing to worry about.  It would only go wherever it was intended to go and nowhere else.  The pigmentation of the colour did not change throughout the whole day either.  The black was just as bold at night as when I first put it on.  As I mentioned before, once I put the gel pencil on my eyes it did not smudge or move at all.  I was confident the whole night that even if it was humid outside or if there was a bit of rain that my eyeliner would still be in tact.  So when I cannot predict what the weather is going to be like I use this! In addition to using it on my lash line I use it on my waterline.  Just a bit on the outer edges of my eye and I'm good to go.  The price is affordable, it's a longwear eyeliner, it doesn't smudge and the pigmentation is crazy good! For beauty beginners and pro's, it's easy to use and you'll create a perfect look anytime.

I really liked this eyeliner for it's pigment and consistency. It performs like most high end gel liners, but in a much easier to apply way.  I found it easy to get a neat, crisp top lid line with this product, and it was the perfect jet black. However, I only got about 5 hours wear out of it before it transferred quite visibly to my crease. With a primer and set with a black shadow, this isn't an issue, but I bought this product hoping it would perform well enough for basic, everyday, no-fuss makeup, just liner and mascara, so having to set and/or prime to keep it in place is annoying and a definite con for me. However, the packaging is great, the hot pink makes it easy to find in the bottom of your hand or makeup bag, and not having to sharpen the liner is always a bonus. It is a good sharp line, and it would certainly be easier to use than a pot gel liner for newbies as you don't have to worry about controlling the amount of product on your brush.  However, because of the transference, I found myself going back to my ol' faithful Maybelline Hyperglossy Eyeliner for everyday, as it doesn't budge once set. I still use this one, but only for more elaborate eye looks where I can make sure it won't move.

This pencil is incredibly awesome in the way it's creamy and glides on my skin. It allows me to draw the finest, and build up to the darkest lines and keeps my eyes smudge free all day long. It is very slim in size and is easy to hold and use. I have to say that I find it remarkable that it's a gel liner, because it is so soft and easy to use. I use this pencil in the mornings when I don't have time to apply a full face of makeup, I just use this eyeliner and I'm ready to go!  This eye liner pencil never needs sharpening, so I'm always able to create looks quickly without having to search for a sharpener. This super skinny liner pencil is a genuine little gem!  It glides on your eyelid with ease because of its super creamy formula so you can create a eye masterpiece with the flick of your wrist!  I usually set the liner with a slightly nude sparkly shadow for work time wear and it doesn't budge all day long. For a date night look, simply blend the liner out and/or make it slightly thicker and add a darker smokey shadow to set. You can also use the pencil to line your inner lid with precision because the formula does not sting or irritate my eyes! Perfect for anyone to use, especially those learning to master their winged eyeliner!

I had never used a gel pencil eyeliner before and bought this one as some ordinary pencils can be a bit dry and drag across the eye. I really loved this gel pencil, so creamy, super skinnny and soft so easy to use. I used black and the colour had a really rich pigment, it glides so easily across the eyelid for a precise line and eyes look professionally done. At the end of the day after wearing this I had no smudging, my line had not moved, caked or flaked, amazing. This pencil gives a really precise result thanks to the ultra precise tip applicator and at such a great price point its a great buy. I love you dont have to sharpen it so no mess which is really convenient. this delivers great results and I would highly recommend it

This is probably one of the creamiest, most pigmented gel/pencil eyeliners I have ever used and I never would've expected it from a drugstore brand! I had judged the skinny liner way too quickly as I haven't always had the best luck with them.  Some can crumble and flake when you use it, others will be too stiff and drag across your lid making it painful and leaving the line looking uneven.  This liner is super super skinny and so unbelievably soft and creamy, it glides across your lid effortlessly.  The point is so precise and really gets as close to your lash as possible making it easy to tightline.  The black colour was very pigmented and I didn't even have to go over it.  You could use it on your lower lash line as well and it didn't cause any irritation or eye watering.  I've used this in so many different ways without having to use any other eye products.  I lightly outline my winged eyeliner and then go over it with the gel pencil for a nice, everyday look.  It's great for the barely there eyeliner when you just want to outline the top of your eye to give it some depth.  For a nighttime look I make a thick line on my upper and lower lash line and then use a smudging brush to create a smokey look.  The liner stays put, dries quickly and doesn't transfer.  The wind up tool makes it easy to use and there is no need to sharpen.  For those who don't like liquid eyeliner and want something with more precision than I would definitely recommend this!  Benefits: -Thin and precise -Doesn't transfer -No flaking or smudging  -Glides easily  -Creamy, pigmented and long lasting -Great for beginners and pros  -Affordable price -Works on both upper and lower lashes Tip: Set it with black eyeshadow to keep the liner in place and make the colour pop
