Awards season is in full swing.

The 2024 Golden Globes and Governor's Awards are done and dusted and they gave us all the slick back bun inspiration a girl could ever need.

Now our eyes are squarely set on the very red Critics Choice red carpet; the red hair, the red lipstick, and the red gowns.

Every possible shade of red was embraced for the event.

Dua Lipa wore head-to-toe cherry mocha and a poppy-hued red was the lipstick of choice for Lily Gladstone, Emma Stone and Sarah Snook.

By the looks of things, red is fast becoming the colour of the red carpet for the 2024 awards season.

Keep scrolling to peep the best red hair and makeup looks from the 2024 Critics Choice awards red carpet.

Head To Toe Red Looks

Dua Lipa's officially in her redhead era! The 'Houdini' singer embraced her cherry mocha-hued strands and wore a matching Prada gown, cherry earrings and nails for good measure. Margot Robbie toned down the saturation of her poppy red Balmain dress with an earthy, red clay nude of a lipstick colour. Emily Blunt, on the other hand, went for a classic blueish red to match her asymetrical Giorgio Armani dress.

Red Hair

Whether they're natural redheads or not, celebrities like the aforementioned Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Natasha Lyonne and Emma Stone are all embracing reddish hues of hair this awards season. Lyonne and Stone are both dabbling in the tried and true copper trend, while Eilish is leaning into a neon bright shade of red.

Red Lipstick

Actresses Lily Gladstone, Christina Ricci and Sarah Snook were all wearing a classically glamourous red lip in varying shades for the awards ceremony. Gladstone's lip colour of choice leaned almost orange, Ricci's carmine, and Snook, a true red.
