The $12 beauty product Sabrina Carpenter wore to the 2025 Grammy Awards

A complete and uncensored rundown of the pop star's look
It really has been Sabrina Carpenter's year.
At the 2025 Grammy Awards, the pop singer performed a mash-up of her hit singles 'Espressoh' and 'Please Please Please', and she was also nominated in six different categories.
Given this pivotal moment in her career, Carpenter and her makeup artist, Carolina Gonzalez, pulled out all the stops for the big event. Whether it was an eye-wateringly expensive Prada lipstick and Armani blush, or some much-loved affordable finds from Aquaphor — Gonzalez used every possible tool in her arsenal to refine Carpenter's signature bronzed pin-up aesthetic.

She prepped her skin with SK-II
No makeup look is possible without the right skin care. To prep Carpenter's skin for the Grammys, Gonzalez first applied the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask ($159 from Sephora), followed by the SK-II SKINPOWER Eye Cream ($169 from Sephora) and SK-II Facial Treatment Essence ($255 from Sephora) — all of which are infused with the brand's signature ingredient Pitera.

She used Aquaphor to keep her lips and limbs hydrated all night long
In 2022, Carpenter told Glamour that she loves Aquaphor, so we weren't entirely surprised to see that the Aquaphor Healing Balm Stick ($22.60 from iHerb), Aquaphor Lip Repair Stick ($11.69 from iHerb), and Aquaphor Ointment Body Spray (not available in Australia) made her makeup routine.
"I love a classic Aquaphor, I can’t lie," she told Glamour. "It’s sitting next to me in my room at all times. I love how it feels: It’s super moisturising, it’s not sticky, it’s kind of the perfect lip product."

She perfected her base with a trio of Armani makeup products
Gonzalez frequently uses Armani's Luminous Silk complexion products on Carpenter for red carpet events. For the Grammys, she applied a base of the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in the shades '5.1' and '5.9' ($115 from Sephora), as well as, the Armani Luminous Silk Concealer in the shade '5.25' ($75 from Sephora). Then, she used the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in the shade '53' ($70 from Sephora) to create Carpenter's signature sunburned blush look, which she touched up and layered prior to the singer's performance.

She used colour-correcting products for an almost-flawless complexion
Perfection may not be possible, but Gonzalez sure came close with Carpenter's makeup. The makeup artist used a trio of colour-correcting and transforming products from Prada to enhance the singer's tanned complexion and neutralise any unwanted undertones in her skin. She primed Carpenter's face with the Prada Refine Blurring Extending Primer ($110 from David Jones), set her base makeup with a sheer swathe of the Prada Reset Rebalancing Setting Powder ($155 from David Jones), and amped up her natural lip colour with the pH-adaptive Prada Balm in the shade 'U001 Astral Pink' (not available in Australia).

She paired her signature lip combo with a soft glam eye look
To finish off Carpenter's sun-kissed, soft glam look Gonzalez used the Prada Monochrome Lipstick ($80 from David Jones) in the shade 'B101 Tiepolo' to line her lips and the shade 'B11 Alabaster' to fill in the centre of her lips. Then, she subtly defined the crease of her lids and the inner corner of her eyes with the Prada Dimensions Eyeshadow Palette in the shade '04 Poetry' (not available in Australia), and added volume to her lashes with the Velour Xtensions Lash Clusters in the style 'Classic Velour' ($46 from Sephora).
