Bringing us the good news we all needed, Smashbox Cosmetics has announced it will be salvaging two of the most-loved products from the soon-to-be-closed BECCA brand.

The news of BECCA closing was released in February 2021, with the date of departure from the market set for September 2021.

And now, just in the nick of time, Smashbox has said it will be bringing the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector and BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Pressed Highlighter in 'Champagne Pop' under its umbrella, beginning sale on smashbox.com from October 2021.

Both Smashbox and BECCA are owned by Estèe Lauder Companies, which allows for such a seamless swap to be possible.

The packaging of the original BECCA products remains seemingly unchanged for now, with the only notable addition being the Smashbox logo (alongside the BECCA one) on the packaging.

Smashbox shared the news via Instagram with the hashtag #SmashboxLovesBecca and when one follower asked if all BECCA products will be available, the brand responded: “There are no additional plans for Smashbox to launch any additional BECCA products.”

However, when further prodded as to whether more shades other than 'Champagne Pop' will be available in the Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Pressed Highlighter, they assured fans to: “Stay tuned because more shades are arriving soon!”

Smashbox is also currently available via MECCA in Australia, but there’s been no indication as to whether the BECCA products will be available in-store or exclusive to online only.
