Sophie Lowe shares her secret to amazing skin
Plus her go-to beauty treatment
The English-born, Australian-adopted actress, singer-songwriter and model is a multi-talented beauty muse. She spills her top skin care secrets and the one makeup look she’ll never try.
Congratulations on your new collaboration with Lanolips. What attracted you to the brand?
Thank you. I love all the natural ingredients they use and the fact they don’t test on animals. Also, it’s actually really good and does what it promises.
Is supporting Australian labels important to you?
Yes, completely. I always try to wear Australian designers for events. It means a lot to me.
What’s the secret to your amazing skin?
Oh, that’s nice you think I have amazing skin! I don’t spend much time in the sun, and if I do I always wear sunscreen. I get facials. Good makeup always helps—and natural products, such as Lano.
Do you have any natural skin care secrets?
Not really, I’m still figuring out
the secrets.
What are some beauty tips you’ve learnt so far?
Washing my makeup off is very important, and to always clean
my brushes.
Any beauty faux pas you care
to share?
Everyone can do what they want, but I’m not keen on huge fake lips. But if it makes you feel good, then who cares?
What are your favourite beauty treatments?
Whenever I’m back in Australia I love going to Melanie Grant [in Sydney’s Double Bay] for an amazing facial.
Want to indulge in a facial? These are the best facials to have in summer.
