Say hello to glow

Spring is finally here ladies and gents and with it comes the much welcomed change to the state of our skin. At least that’s what we hope, because we don’t know about you, but the colder months have taken a toll on our skin like you would not believe. We’re talking hormonal breakouts, dry and sensitive skin and just a lack of overall chill that we’re not okay with tolerating anymore.
But the change of weather isn’t the only exciting thing about spring’s arrival – it’s also the influx of revitalising skin care products packed full of antioxidants and other skin-lovin’ goodies, ready to leave an enviable ‘new season, new me’ glow. Once these fresh finds have had the chance to work their magic, they’re sure to erase away the skin care sins of winter’s past.
Here are the products we’re adding to our routines to give them, and our skin, a bit of a spring time refresh:
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum
If you’re a fan of the OG Advanced Night Repair, we have great news for you, Estée Lauder has recently relaunched their cult serum with a new and improved formulation. The revamped favourite now utilises Chronolux™ Power Signal Technology, helping to reduce the premature signs of ageing caused by environmental pollutants. Get ready to say hello to revitalised and strengthened skin, and possibly also some form of addiction to whatever potent secret sauce they put in this stuff. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Sand And Sky Tasmanian Spring Water Hydration Boost Cream
In need of a lighter moisturiser formulation as the weather starts to warm up? Look no further than Sand & Sky’s new hydration boost cream. With a heady combo of 15 naturally occurring minerals, two types of hyaluronic acid and sea kelp, this unassuming weightless water-cream delivers lasting hydration, plumps skin and fine lines, and provides antioxidant protection against pollutants. Sorted.
LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask
There is something so sweetly satisfying about an overnight mask – they’re so easy to apply but the results they yield are enormous – think plump, juicy skin upon waking that gives a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘beauty sleep’. This cica-infused offering from Laneige not only revitalises the complexion overnight, but it also helps to repair skin and minimise irritation. *chefs kiss*
ELEMIS Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter
ELEMIS can do no wrong when it comes to their cleansing products, and the brand has outdone themselves again with this superfood-enriched cleansing butter. Packed full of pumpkin enzymes rich in AHAs, the skin is invigorated and gently exfoliated, while the butter melts away dirt, impurities and makeup for a soft, clean complexion that’s prepped for product application. In need of a deep clean? Well guess what, you’re in luck because this little guy also doubles as a deep-cleansing face mask. Score!
SEPHORA COLLECTION Gentle PH Balancing Toner
In case you hadn’t heard, Sephora just expanded their Sephora Collection to offer a wealth of new goodies, including this godsend of a toner, which harnesses the soothing and balancing effects of chlorella and brown algae. Not your typical drying toner of the past, this lightweight formulation hydrates, smooths and evens out skin texture, and helps to lift and break down dirt, impurities and pollutants for a glow like no other.
