Elsa Hosk just brought back everyone’s fave nostalgic ‘90s hair accessory and we couldn’t be more grateful
Plus, you can pick up the same *exact* product for just $10
Yes, those are snap clips and, oh, the nostalgia is hitting us hard!
Unlike the ornate, pearl-studded clips that have been having more than a moment this year, Elsa’s clips are your simple, run-of-the-mill coloured plastic clips that we were all obsessed with in the ‘90s.
There are few things we love more than an excuse to get back on-board with a favourite old trend, and fortunately, Elsa’s hairstylist Benoit Moeyaert has done everyone a solid and revealed where you can buy Elsa’s exact clips.
The best news? They’re cheap as chips and retail on Amazon for around just AUD$10 for 15 pairs (that’s less than $1 each!). They’re called the Colorful Assorted Color Glossy Snap Prong Clips Bendy Hair Clips Barrettes for Ladies Girls Hair (whew, that’s quite a mouthful) and you can check ‘em out here.
Moeyaert also shared in an Instagram Story that the inspo behind the look was none other than Wes Anderson’s fictional character Margot Tenenbaum in the film The Royal Tenenbaums.
If you’re looking for more hair trends to try, check out the new way to wear hair scarves – as seen at NYFW.
Will you be replicating Elsa Hosk’s snap clips hairstyle? Let us know in the comments.
