It’s hard to imagine a world where our number one girl crush isn’t Sydney Sweeney. Everything about her is simply perfection. From her perfectly styled tresses to her incredibly enviable body, we are obsessed. Shooting to mega-stardom on Euphoria, Sweeney has well and truly earnt her ‘it girl’ status.
Like the many other ‘it girls’ before her, we’re almost certain that Sweeney has picked up some of her beauty tips from the Euphoria set. And much like her character Cassie, Sweeney opts for elegant rounded nails to finish off her red carpet looks.
Glazed Donut Nails
Hailey Bieber might be the face behind this wildly popular nail trend, but the much loved celeb nail artist that created the look is Zola Ganzorigt. As a manicurist to the stars and creative genius in her own right, Ganzorigt is often the one setting the nail trends.
And Sweeney’s People’s Choice Awards mani is no exception. Ganzorigt labelled the look ‘glazed vanilla french’ and showed off how the super simple minimalist look can still give us a hit of glam.
How to recreate the look
If we’ve learnt one thing from celeb makeup and nail artists, it’s to always search the comments to see if they’ve dropped the products they used. Yep, you’re in on our sleuthing ways. And blessedly, Ganzorigt’s love for manicurist favourite OPI means that you can actually put your skills to the test and try this look out at home.
To get the look, Ganzorigt used a mix of OPI’s Bubble Bath ($21.95 at Adore Beauty) and almost identical OPI Put It In Neutral ($21.95 at Myer) to create the neutral pinky base. As for the classic French tip, she relied on the ever-classic OPI Funny Bunny ($21.95 at Adore Beauty). Now here’s where we stumble into a spot of difficulty. Since the ‘glazed’ look took over everyones nails, finding the exact chrome powder used by any one manicurist has become increasingly difficult. So if you ever spy OPI Tin Man Can Chrome, snap it up and sprinkle it on to create your fave glazed look.
