Over the last few months we’ve been trying our hand at TikTok beauty hacks.
To say we now resent our beauty blenders and their ‘too much-ness’ right now would be a bit of an understatement.
But now we’re turning away from ridiculous multi-tasking beauty tools and dipping into the extent of our makeup kits for a lip option that’s so damn flattering it’s almost criminal.
TikToker @yokenzieb dropped a bad boy piece of information on the social platform recently, revealing she had in fact cracked the code for the perfect lip combination.
“When [girls] ask ‘what’s your lip combination?’” Kenzie responds “You gon’ have to do you boo.”
“I have a little tip for the girlies… your perfect lip shade will be your eyebrow liner, your eyebrow pencil, lining your lip,” said Kenzie in the clip. “Then whatever you use for blush on the middle of your lip and then a gloss.”
Um, sorry what? We have all been furiously rubbing copious amounts of eyebrow pencil on our brows when it could have been utilised elsewhere in our makeup routines?
“It will always be the perfect lip shade, [because] we’re taking two natural colours and you put them together on your lips,” she assured her audience.
We don’t know all that much about colour theory but after locking eyes with Kenzie’s impressive pout we’re open to learning.
And it seems we’re not the only ones.
Curious creators took to TikTok to replicate the lip colour hack themselves and found that Kenzie had in fact stumbled upon the discovery of the century:
Game enough to line your lips with an eyebrow pencil that’s been fully acquainted with your foundation-encrusted brow hairs?
Honestly, we don’t know if we are either, but we’re going to probably give it a go anyway…
Need a new eyebrow pencil solely dedicated to lining your lips? These are some of the best eyebrow pencils in the game.
