Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Victoria Beckham both swear by this French skin care product

If you want it, you’ll have to get on Sephora’s waitlist

The French have proved time and time again that they know how to make great beauty products. French pharmacy products regularly earn themselves loyal followings from the likes of models, makeup artists, celebrities and beauty gurus. So, in a way, we were a little unsurprised when we heard Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir had such a cult following (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Victoria Beckham are big fans). But we never expected to learn that this one product has a massive waitlist.

Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir has been on the market for over 20 years and quickly became one of the brand’s best-selling products after its release in 1997. Inspired by the Queen of Hungary’s Elixir of Youth, the magic of this toning mist lies in its radiance-enhancing and pore-tightening formula that contains plant extracts and essential oils that leave skin clarified and bright.

In an interview with W magazine, Rosie Huntington-Whitely says her love of the product began 10 years ago, backstage at a fashion show, "I've really kept with me ever since, it's a product you can use all day, every day, throughout your day. There's no right or wrong way to use it, and it just feels incredible.”

“It's such a revival for the skin, it's a great way to set makeup, I love it on a hot day, or even just to have one in my handbag,” she gushed. “It's brilliant for travelling, it's fantastic for keeping the skin supple and glowy and moisturised during flights and certainly great when you're landing after a long redeye."

Victoria Beckham is also a fan of this little guy, taking to Twitter to declare her love for the elixir and offering this advice: “Caudalie gives you a glowing complexion. Use it on top of your makeup.”

Celebrities aren’t the only ones raving about the magical effects of the Beauty Elixir; Sephora customers love it so much they’ve given it a 4.5 star rating on Sephora.com.au and there’s a waitlist just to buy a bottle of the stuff. Yes, even 20 years after it first launched.

And honestly, if it means having skin like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Victoria Beckham, we’re adding our names to that list.
