For anyone else currently dealing with self-iso skin issues, keep reading ‘cause Australian beauty guru Zoë Foster Blake is dishing out her best tips. While lamenting about the perils being holed-up inside on the skin, the Go-To Skin Care founder has taken to Instagram to demo her personal at-home facial routine and share how she’s tackling her skin “wigging out.”
Introducing her mini at-home facial regimen on Instagram, Zoë says:
"Skin can start to get a bit bitchy with all this constant insidesies. Dry, flaky, spotty, dull, annoying. If you take 25 mins once a week for a deep clean and nourishment party, you will see a difference. Your face will get the TLC it needs, and you will get the glow you deserve.”
#1 / Double cleanse
Zoë explains that because she’s wearing makeup and an SPF product, she’s going to be double cleansing her skin. If you’re starting with bare skin, cleansing once is sufficient.
Zoë’s products of choice? A Go-To Posh Cloth in combination with the Go-To Skin Care Fancy Face Nourishing Oil Cleanser which she says is “excellent for people with imbalanced skin.” She then follows up with Go-To Skin Care Properly Clean Facial Cleanser saying “your skin will be so clean after this, you won’t know yourself.”
#2 / Remove dead skin using exfoliating pads
Zoë uses the Go-To Skin Care Exfoliating Swipeys “to get rid of dead skin that’s hanging around and even everything out.” Some other options we also love are Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Glycolic Pads.
#3 / Purify with a deep-cleaning mask
Next up is a clay or purifying mask “to draw out impurities.” Zoë says she uses one of these at a minimum of once per week and again gently removes it using a cloth as she did with her cleanser.
