The Internet has gone into meltdown
After making big pouts a worldwide beauty trend, it seems Kylie Jenner is taking a step back after debuting a very different look in a recent Instagram post.
Sharing a photo of herself alongside friend Anastasia Karanikolaou, the Lip Kits mogul wore minimal makeup and showed off her clear, glowing skin and a carefree hairstyle. But it was her lips that caught everyone’s attention.
Fans were quick to comment that Kylie’s lips looked smaller, with one fan writing, “she looks like the old Kylie here idk why”, to which the beauty mogul casually responded: “I got rid of all my filler.”
Cue an actual tsunami of comments.
Instagram users were super supportive of the reality star’s new look, with fans commenting on how much younger she looked and giving her kudos for embracing her natural beauty.
One person wrote, “Girl you look SO good natural” while another wrote “You honestly look soo amazing without makeup or the lip fillers girl. Keep doing what you’re doing and continue being successful and such an amazing mum.”
One fan wrote, "YESSS KYLIE!!! You look stunning w [sic] more natural looking lips” (BTW Kylie replied to this comment with three heart-face emojis – no biggie).
While we all love a good bold Kylie pout, we can’t get enough of this new refreshing change – and we are loving watching her embrace a more natural look of late (just see here and here). Minimal effort? Yes please.
Considering the recent swarm of celebrity shots embracing freckles, glowing skin and low-key makeup (read: Ariana Grande, Gwen Stefani and Gigi Hadid - just to name a few), it looks like natural beauty and pared-back makeup is definitely a trend that’s here for the long haul. And we are ALL IN.
