Lily Collins, Dove Cameron and Camila Mendes all back this affordable beauty essential
Aside from all being 30-something, incredibly beautiful, talented actresses, what do Lily Collins, Dove Cameron and Camila Mendes all have in common?
Turns out it's a seriously afford (read: only $7) lip product that you probably have a tube of in your bag right now.
The trusty tube in question? Burt's Bees of course. The seriously natural, lip-loving balm has popped up in all three of these ladies' lip combos of late.
Lily Collins
Collins herself has been a major fan of the balm for years. And as someone who's got a pretty exxy everyday beauty routine, it just shows that the balm stacks up to the more expensive lineup.
We can only assume it was Collin's own love for the iconic yellow tube that we even spotted it in Emily in Paris Season 4. Yep, sitting in her bathroom cabinet was a well-positioned (and unmissable) Burt's Bees tube.
Dove Cameron
Her pout might be seriously iconic, but until recently, we weren't totally aware on what gave it such its signature plumped up gloss. Thankfully, in a recent Allure GRWM video Cameron shared her trio of pout-perfecting products.
Step one: Line with a warm-toned (very important for Cameron) peel-off lip liner. She uses the Sacheu Lip Liner Stay-N in what we assume to be shade 'Muah-ve' ($37.90 from Amazon Australia).
Step two: Once the stain has set (and been peeled off, talk about satisfying) Cameron goes in with her "tried and true" Makeup Forever Artist Colour Pencil in 'Endless Cacao' ($41 from Adore Beauty). Her top tip? Keep the pencil tip "kind of dull" to give the liner a blurred finish.
Step three: A very simple swipe of the OG Burt's Bees Lip Balm ($6.99 from Priceline), and voilà her daytime lip combo complete.
Camila Mendes
If you ask any beauty lover what products travel with them, the answer will always include a lip combo. Case in point? Camila Mendes. When being interviewed by Who What Wear what three beauty items go everywhere with her she said, "a brow brush, lip liner and a lip balm."
See? The girlies are prepared. Mendes also (kindly) shared her lip combo deets. Makeup Forever Artist Colour Pencil in either 'Anywhere Caffeine' or 'Wherever Walnut' ($41 from Adore Beauty) and of course, a Burt's Bees Lip Balm ($6.99 from Priceline). We love to see an iconic lip combo for under $50.
