Daisy nail designs have officially taken over the #nailart hashtag

'Pushing daisies' is traditionally a saying with a pretty, er, morbid meaning. Instagram's #nailart hashtag, however, is totally redefining it, pushing us all to try out daisies drawn on our nails – the furthest thing from morbid. And with all the outrageously cute inspo filed under the label, it's certainly hard to resist.

We're not talking about your nanna's shower curtain patterns, either. While more traditional yellow-and-white petals layered over bases of pretty pinks, peaches and purples do still prove popular, there are heaps of fresh floral ideas housed alongside the classics as well; from neon-on-negative-space to manis that embrace different tonal pairings per finger (think emerald daisies over lime on one nail, and cobalt over bright blue on the next).
