Celebrities Are Obsessed With These Dr. Barbara Sturm Skin Care Products

Elsa Hosk, Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski all swear by it

Swedish model Elsa Hosk just shared this video after visiting Dr. Barbara Sturm’s newly-opened New York City store. And she went a little cray! Seriously, check out her massive haul:

A slew of celebs including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emily Ratajkowski and Hailey Bieber have openly declared their love for the brand, with some even spilling the deets on their favourite products.

Here are just a few of Dr. Barbara Sturm’s celebrity fans:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

During a beauty tutorial about her go-to five-minute makeup look, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley revealed that one of her favourite products is the Dr. Barbara Sturm Brightening Face Lotion, which she likes to use “as a bit of a primer before I put everything on”.

And Rosie’s got a hot tip on how to use it. “One of the key things when adding luminosity or glow to your skin - this is one of the things I learnt from [makeup artist] Katie Jane Hughes - is to add that glow where you want to feel glowy,” says Rosie before pressing the lotion into her cheekbones.

Emily Ratajkowski

American model/actress Emily Ratajkowski uses multiple products in the range, but she says the Dr. Barbara Sturm Facial Scrub is probably her fave because “it’s exfoliating but it’s still moisturising. I travel so much, I have a lot of dead skin that needs to come off… what makes it special is it doesn’t dry your skin out.”

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber also uses a range of Dr. Barbara Sturm products, but one product in her arsenal contains a very interesting ingredient – Hailey’s own blood!

“[Dr. Sturm] took blood from my arm and put it into a machine that spins it and separates the plasma from your blood before putting it into a lotion for your skin,” says Hailey. Sounds a bit bizarre, but considering how flawless Hailey’s skin is, we’re pondering whether this controversial concoction could be worth a try!

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian speaks highly of one of the cult faves from the range: “[Dr.] Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Acid Serum is one of my most favourite products. I use it day and night.”

Bella Hadid

And just last year Bella Hadid took to Instagram Stories after visiting Dr. Barbara Sturm saying, "A big kiss and shout out to @bbsturm @drbarbarasturm for not only being the woman boss she is, but changing my skin forever with her incredible facials.”

Yep, those are decent accolades! And the brand’s creator has some seriously formidable credentials to back up the hype.

The Dr. Barbara Sturm range was created by Dr. Sturm who is (as you’ve probably guessed) an actual medical doctor who started her career as a surgeon. She then spent the last decade engineering her Molecular Cosmetics range using the principles she learnt about treating patients with their own proteins.

The result? Non-invasive but highly effective skin care treatments that work so well all the celebs who’ve tried them are singing from the rooftops – as we’ve seen!

But as with many celeb-approved products, this range unfortunately comes with celeb-worthy price tags. A lip balm from the range will set you back $78 and if you want to try one of the serums, well, you’ll be looking at prices from $450.

Ouch, that’ll put a dint in your bank balance. But hey, considering what we’ve just read, we’re feeling they might just be worth the splurge.

See ya, money! Hello, glowing skin!
