A world in which we have access to the same products that make up Emily Ratajkowski’s skin care routine is a pretty glorious one. And we must say, for a celeb regimen, it’s pretty wallet-friendly. Shoutout to Selena Gomez who takes her makeup off with La Mer! Nothing but respect, but could never be us.

Sure, there are a few luxury items in Ratajkowski's routine – we’d opt for the same if we had unlimited access to the world's best beauty brands. But it's clear she also appreciates a good beauty bargain, and we appreciate that.

Ratajkowski confessed she doesn't usually have blemishes to contend with (lucky, we know), so she keeps it simple to start with. "For everyday, my go-to is just the simple Kiehl's cleanser if my skin's looking okay and I don’t want to screw with it too much," she told The Skincare Edit. Which Kiehl's cleanser, you ask? The Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash ($53 at Kiehl's).

Emily Ratajowski’s favourite retinol alternative

"[Once] I’ve washed my face, then I use Biologique Recherche P50," Ratajkowski told Vogue. FYI, prices vary per salon, but you can find your closest stockist at Biologique Recherche. "Some people don’t love it, but I am somebody for whom retinol is too extreme, so P50 is a happy medium," she added. "It balances my skin and I layer it with a pretty thick moisturiser [to soften the effects]."

Blessedly, her moisturiser (or should we say balm) fave is a bargain buy! "I’m obsessed with Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm ($22.95 at Fruugo), which is a really thick moisturiser. I put it everywhere, especially when I’m flying as it’s the only thing that will seep in," she once shared. "I put it under my eyes at night. It’s God’s gift to earth." Quite the review!

Ratajkowski's mist of choice? The Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist ($118.88 at Net-A-Porter). "This is something I do in the morning and at night. It's just a little add on that makes me feel fresh and good. I actually don't know how to pronounce this product, which is embarrassing because I'm obsessed with it," she told The Skincare Edit. As long as you know how to spritz it, you'll be golden!

Emily Ratajowski’s favourite sunscreen

"I use the Dr Loretta sunscreen during the day. I don't let my face get sun," Ratajkowski revealed to The Skincare Edit, shouting out the Dr Loretta Urban Antioxidant Sunscreen SPF 40 ($79.43 at Revolve). A lightly tinted skin protector also packed with hydrating, firming peptides, it's a great everyday all-rounder.

Her final step before the cycle begins again (sans SPF at night of course) is makeup remover. "I wash my face every night — well, I try to. I use Bioderma [Sensibio H2O Micellar Water Makeup Remover] ($33 at Chemist Warehouse). It’s a French drugstore product that’s an amazing makeup remover," Ratajkowski revealed to Vogue. A pharmacy face wash?! Tell us more! "It’s the only one that just gets it done and doesn’t feel like it leaves something on your skin, or dries it out."
