So what exactly is an ice roller and what do they do? Well, a whole heap of stuff! Ice rolling involves massaging the face with a tool that looks pretty much like a paint roller. However, inside is a mixture of gel and water, which transforms into ice when stored in the freezer. Unlike ice though, it takes longer to melt and gives you way more time to reap the rewards.
They've become a popular tool for soothing, de-puffing and reviving tired skin. Ice rollers reduce inflammation and stimulate circulation to minimise puffiness and fine lines, calm irritation and enhance product absorption. They can also promote a brighter complexion by improving blood flow and reducing puffiness (just to name a few key things).
