Kylie Jenner just shared her 5-minute in-flight makeup routine

And teased a new product from Kylie Cosmetics

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / April 10 2024

As the founder of a makeup brand and one sixth of the glamorous Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie Jenner knows her way around a makeup look.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder has been dropping makeup tutorials online since she was in her teens, but now that the beauty mogul is 26 years old, she's changed her attitude towards makeup application.

In March, Jenner revisited her 2017 bold glam makeup era with updated products and modern techniques for a softer take on a look her fans know and love.

And now, just a month later, the mum of two has dropped a very relatable five-minute face of makeup that she applies in-flight while she's travelling. Granted, she's doing all of this while flying in her private plane, so it's not an entirely down to earth representation of a typical on-the-go makeup look by any means, but we appreciate the info nonetheless.

Naturally there's an overwhelming amount of Kylie Cosmetics products in Jenner's in-flight makeup bag, but we also spotted a few products from Dior, Charlotte Tilbury and her sister Kim Kardashian's brand SKKN By Kim Makeup.

Kylier Jenner's Travel Makeup Routine

To start with, Jenner laid down a base of the Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush Longwear Foundation ($62 from Kylie Cosmetics) using the Kylie Cosmetics Foundation Brush ($55 from Kylie Cosmetics), which are currently on sale as as set: Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush Foundation & Brush Duo ($105 (usually $120) from Kylie Cosmetics).

Then she applied a healthy dose of rosy pink cream blush to her cheeks, lips and the bridge of her nose, which appeared to be a new blush stick from Kylie Cosmetics. Jenner briefly flashed the blush box at the camera teasingly and we managed to peep the product name — Kylie Cosmetics Powder Blush Stick.

After blush, Jenner whipped out a tube of the Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush Longwear Concealer ($47 from Kylie Cosmetics) and the Kylie Cosmetics Concealer Brush ($40 from Kylie Cosmetics) to brighten her under eyes, the centre of her forehead and her chin. She also used the Kylie Cosmetics Power Plush Concealer & Brush Duo ($78 (usually $86) from Kylie Cosmetics) to contour the sides of her nose, and then she set everything with the Kylie Cosmetics Setting Powder ($45 from Kylie Cosmetics) using a pink powder puff.

To subtly accentuate her eyes, Jenner dabbed a small amount of the Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Eyeshadow ($35 from Kylie Cosmetics) in what appears to be the shade '2 Steps Ahead', and gently buffed it across her lid, all the way up to her brow bone using a fluffy, blending eyeshadow brush.

Next, she groomed and set her brow hairs into place using the Kylie Jenner Kybrow Gel ($33 from Kylie Cosmetics), and lined her plush pout with her sister, Kim Kardashian's SKKN By Kim Makeup Lip Liner (sadly not available in Australia) in a natural nude brown shade.

Next, Jenner used the highlighter shade from the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette ($86 from Adore Beauty) as a glowy cheek topper and inner corner highlight on her eyes.

Then she dusted off the excess powder on her face, clamped her lashes with an eyelash curler, rimmed her lower lash line with the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencil in Bronzed Garnet ($45 from Charlotte Tilbury) and lightly dabbed the Kylie Cosmetics Tinted Butter Balm in 'Love That 4 U' ($31 from Kylie Cosmetics) through the centre of her lips to finish the look.

She doesn't just use Kylie Cosmetics products, in fact, Kylie Jenner’s go-to fake tan is actually an Aussie fave.

Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
