The product

Finding the perfect mascara is a lifelong quest of any true beauty lover, and in many ways, there is no greater feeling of accomplishment than finding a mascara that delivers dramatic-looking lashes without clumping on you after you’ve applied the first coat.

And we’ve found one that ticks all of the boxes: L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes.

Recently reformulated, this budget-friendly mascara is highly pigmented, volumising, has a nourishing formula that is enriched with camellia and black orchid oils to keep lashes healthy and strong, and it doesn’t clump.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put the mascara and liner to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes, as well as L’Oréal Paris Flash Cat Eye, to a panel of women aged between 18 and 34 who wanted to create a dramatic lash look without clumps.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes.

The way it separated their lashes: Members were immediately impressed by the way the mascara wand helped separate and define their lashes in one coat. They loved the full, long lash look it created.

The non-clumping formula: Reviewers loved the fact that they could layer the mascara to achieve their desired amount of volume without having to worry about their lashes clumping together.

How it didn’t smudge or transfer: Review Crew® members were highly impressed by the lasting power of the mascara, with many saying they experienced minimal to no transferring or smudging of product throughout the day.

The verdict

“The mascara separated my lashes nicely and created a voluminous look. I found that the mascara was not clumpy when applied to my lashes and it did not flake during the day even after 9 hours of wearing it during the day.”

“It goes on easily with no clumping. It stayed on all day with no flaking and didn't run when I was caught in the rain. I even rubbed my eyes toward the end of the day and the amount of transfer was minimal.”

“It has a thicker wand which is good for volume and building layers on my lashes. The mascara fanned out my lashes and separated them really well, doesn't flake off or smear throughout the day, and has really good wear time. This mascara impressed me a lot - it goes on really nicely, not clumpy at all, and gave me really nice length and volume.”
