Marc Jacobs’ wedding served up some seriously stunning retro beauty looks

All your favourite supermodels were in attendance

Fashion designer and beauty mogul Marc Jacobs married his long-time partner Char Defrancesco in New York on the weekend and the two celebrated their nuptials with a guest list of supermodel friends that looked like a New York Fashion Week after-party.

As you might imagine, the beauty inspo was out of this world. The star-studded wedding guest list included iconic ‘90s supermodels like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, as well as the next generation of big names in fashion, like Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss’s daughter, Lila Grace Moss Hack (who made her modelling debut as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty in October).

With a clear nod to past decades, these were our favourite retro beauty looks from Marc Jacobs’ wedding.

Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid

Sisters Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid stepped out hand in hand for the evening, with Bella absolutely nailing a high pony and a new ‘70s-inspired fringe. Gigi opted for a sexy bedhead texture through her hair, which she contained under a black fedora. Both sisters went for soft glam makeup looks with glowy, slightly-flushed complexions and a pinky-nude lips.

Kaia Gerber

Kaia Gerber looked like she walked straight off of a Marc Jacobs runway, donning one of Jacobs’ oversized, menswear-inspired suits, which she paired with dead-straight hair and the softest wash of pink makeup across her cheeks, lips and lids.

Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski opted for a modern take on ‘70s glamour, wearing a bright yellow, deep-plunge satin dress that looked like it could have been worn by Bianca Jagger to Studio 54. She added a blown-out red winged eye look and an undone top knot to finish off the ensemble.

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell wowed in a floor-length, bejewelled cape and matching oversized, high-waisted trousers, that she paired with a metallic smoky eye and a berry-nude lip. She wore her hair in a classic centre part with curls that were coiled tight at the ends – resulting in a modern take on the more relaxed waves of the ‘70s.

Kate Moss and Lila Grace

Kate Moss and her daughter Lila Grace looked ever the life of the party, with Kate donning an aubergine maxi dress and Lila Grace rocking a gold strapless mini dress. Kate completed her look with a ‘60s-inspired high bun and tendrils that framed her face, and for her makeup she wore a winged eyeliner look with big, fluttery lashes. 16-year-old Lila Grace went for the more minimal approach with centre-parted straight hair and a nude lip, choosing to make her silvery, metallic eye makeup the focus.

The 90's Supermodels

Christy Turlington showed off a naturally glowing complexion (can you believe she’s 50?!) and little more than a slick of mascara. Fellow supermodel Helena Christensen, however, rocked her signature kohl-lined eye look and a berry lip with purposefully undone waves. As for Amber Valletta, she donned a sleek straight lob with barely-there makeup.
