New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020 has arrived and the runway is serving some seriously Pinterest-worthy beauty inspo.

From Tadashi Shoji’s royal blue eyeshadow to Alice + Olivia’s rhinestone-studded hair and Proenza Schouler’s glistening skin, the shows have presented an exquisite sneak peek at the hair and makeup looks you’ll be coveting next season.

Here are the best looks from NYFW.

Spangled brows and topiary-shaped hair at Christopher John Rogers

Sparkly brows and creative hair appeared at Christopher John Rogers. Taking inspiration from topiary art, Amika global artistic director, Naeemah LaFond, created personalised hair looks for each model telling WWD:

“I wanted to showcase all kinds of textures and varying shapes and silhouettes and keep it a cohesive story, so the one binding concept is keeping them all structural.”

Marc Jacobs

Bespoke was the word of the hour at Marc Jacobs where 140 models walked in a seemingly endless array of unique beauty looks. Tying it all together were two central beauty motifs: Black eyeliner and red lipstick.

“It’s a modern take on beauty and an exploration of individuality. There is an individual look for each model,” says the show's makeup lead, Pat Mcgrath, on the inspiration behind the looks.

Slick hair and glistening skin at Proenza Schouler

Slicked back, wet-look hairstyles with glistening, dewy skin to match were on show at Proenza Schouler. “We were inspired by strong, sexy, tough women in the 90s. I wanted it to look like the models had just gotten out of the shower and combed their hair back almost effortlessly,” says Redken Global Creative Director, Guido Palau describing the inspiration behind the hair.

Royal blue eyeshadow at Tadashi Shoji

Take it from Tadashi Shoji, royal blue is the eyeshadow shade to be seen in this season. The fun look was created by Honest Beauty Creative Color Consultant Daniel Martin who brushed the colour out into an intricate feathered shape to add extra dimension.

Bare skin and ‘rich girl hair’ at Carolina Herrera

Paving the way for her bright garments to take centre stage, Carolina Herrera sent her models down the runway with “simple, but luxe,” hair looks according to Guido, who created this stunning low-slung ponytail look. Also lending to the oh-so expensive vibe was model’s flawless, subtly highlighted skin.
