Every stop along Olivia Wilde's amazing beauty evolution
Those brows have come a long, long way

We've been obsessed with Olivia Wilde since the second she arrived on The O.C. way back in 2004. FYI, just in case you haven't kept the Californian classic as a marathon mainstay in recent years, Wilde played Alex, AKA Ryan-then-Seth-then-Marissa's-cool-girl-love-interest. Teen romances are complicated, okay?
However, though we may have met her with bleached blonde hair and whisper-thin arches, Wilde's look has come a long way since the '00s (as has her career; if you're yet to experience the humour-meets-heart magic of Booksmart, her directorial debut, this is the sign you've been waiting for).
But yes, while she may have picked up a director's chair throughout the last seventeen years, she definitely (blessedly) put the tweezers down, too. So, without further ado, allow us to present the incredible beauty evolution Olivia Wilde has graced us with, all the way from 2003 to now...
Nothing says '2003' like frosted lipstick, barely-there brows and teal eyeshadow, huh?
Wilde soon swapped her icy blonde for a heavenly honey hue.
Despite being a natural blonde, she soon crossed over to the dark side (and did it well).
Nobody (not even glamorous actresses) came out of the 'concealer lips' era unscathed.
2007 saw the arrival of retro-inspired curtain bangs and silky-smooth texture.
Wilde's bronzed skin worked a treat with her beachy brunette waves.
2009 saw Wilde return to minimalism, with smooth strands and natural makeup.
But in 2010, it was back to 'bombshell' vibes, thanks to this striking lip-and-lash combo.
Next up? A full-fledged front fringe, teamed with gloss and a little liner.
No, we haven't gone back in time; the blonde-hair-and-metallic-shadow combo made a brief comeback.
We'll say it: nobody wears winged liner like Wilde; it makes her green eyes pop like crazy.
After switching between blonde and brunette, she compromised with a hazelnut-to-honey balayage blend.
Yes, she has the nerve to rock a power pout just as well as she does a wing. Also, hello brows.
We refer to 2016 as 'the year Wilde convinced us milkmaid braids were everything'.
She got a chin-grazing chop (and switched back to a block-colour deep brown) the next year.
Though the cut stuck around, it wasn't long before the bronde colour was back in action.
If you Google 'how to nail tousled texture and smokey shadow', this will no doubt be result #1.
We're living for the low-key look she's been sporting lately, and can't wait to see what 2021 brings...
