Bioderma Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Water Cleanser

For some reason it took me a long time to get on to this well-loved micellar water even though I've used different brands, and now I can see why it's such a hit. Like other miscellar waters, this cleanses without requiring rinsing. The formula is quite simple, which is great for sensitive skin. It is fragrance-free and has a skin-friendly pH of 5.5. To use, simply soak a cotton pad and swipe over face. This micellar water doesn't sting my eyes and doesn't irritate my skin in any way. It's effective in removing daily wear sunscreen and most make-up, doesn't strip and leaves my skin feeling comfortable and hydrated. Waterproof make-up requires a bit of work, so I still prefer to use oil-based cleansers on days I have heavier make-up on, to reduce the rubbing. Since it doesn't require rinsing, you could use it as a standalone cleanser. But because it's so gentle, you can still use a second wash-off cleanser if you wish. I also find this handy to use in the middle of the day if I want to start with a clean face before applying make-up. It's also handy (decantered) on overnight flights since you can clean your face in your seat without having to do everything in the cramped toilets.

Bioderma Sensibio range caters for sensitive skin. I’ve been using their Micellar Water regularly as part of my cleansing process to remove makeup and minimizes the need to double cleanse. Sensibio Micellar water is essentially a gentle makeup remover that cleanses, soothes and moisturizes skin. It’s micelle formulation removes impurities and makeup without drying out the skin. I usually just soak cotton wool or makeup removal pads with the solution and wipe the makeup off before cleansing with a cleanser.

Bioderma sensibio is the original and the best! I've now tried many different other brands and nothing really compare to it. First up, it is fragrance free so it would be appealing to those who like a fragrance free product. It removes makeup completely without excessive rubbing. It's gentle and does not strip skin moisture. I also use it on a cotton bud to correct makeup mishaps. As a makeup remover, I always wash the micellar water off with a second cleanse (usually a gel or foaming cleanser), so that my skincare can work on clean skin. As a makeup corrector, I do not have to rinse to put on another layer of makeup, it's a very versatile and convenient product!

This Bioderma Sensibio H2O is a fantastic Micellar water and the best I have used. I was a bit sceptical of this product as it looks and has the consistency of water but when I applied it to a cotton round I could see a detergent film to the product. Upon applying the Sensibio soaked cotton round to my face I found that it quickly and easily removed all traces of makeup without rubbing or needing to go over the same spot 10 times. It is great for sensitive skin and did not sting when I was removing eye makeup either. This is a powerful cleanser and does leave a bit of a film on my skin which easily came off with a splash of water. The main thing I would tell anyone is that you need to use a cotton round, tip or bud as it helps grip the makeup, tissues did not work which I tried when I ran out of cotton rounds. Made in France.

This is the best micellar water products I've ever used! It is so gentle on the skin and leaves it feeling clean but not super stripped from oils. As someone with acne-prone skin, this does not break me out what so ever. Personally I use it a few ways, the first is instead of washing my face when I'm lazy and the other is to take off my makeup. It takes off makeup so well and cleans out all the pores. However, after using this product I find that my face feels slightly sticky so I feel like I need to rinse my face after use. Overall this is one of my fave skincare products and it does an amazing job at removing makeup super gently.

This is hands down the best micellar water for removing makeup, it just comes off so effortlessly. It is quite expensive but it is so worth every penny, its the only micellar water that gets all of my makeup off without irritating my skin.

Absolutely love this product! I was recommended by a friend as I have quite sensitive skin and my cleanser was stripping my skin. This is so gentle but it removes literally everything. Even after cleansing, this still takes off the makeup or skincare that won't budge. Couldn't recommend it more! I apply it on a cotton pad and use about 2-3 at night. Only downside is that I don't want to be using cotton pads everyday due to environmental reasons.

A classic. Micellar that just works and does what it is supposed to do: remove dirt off the skin. Apparently it is non  rinse formula, gentle and fragrance free. I still like to rinse my face after using the micellar. Great at removing spf, even the heaviest ones (4 hour water resistant). I rarely wear makeup, but when I do it is spf50, light foundation, mascara and lip something. This micellar melts all of it off. I do though go for second cleanse with my oil cleanser (or gel/foam) with foreo cleansing device, just to massage  face a bit and make sure everything is off. And pores super clean. Removes also well matte long wear lipsticks I sometimes use. With ease. Good stuff

It’s easy to see why this is considered one of or if not the best micellar based make up remover.  It makes light work of removing any make up and impurities including the stubborn waterproof variety.  I have extremely sensitive and easily irritable eyes but have had absolutely no reaction to this amazing product and would recommend it to anyone.  The key attraction for me was the exclusion of all the nasties as well as its ph balancing and respecting properties.  It is priced higher than the average micellar water but is well worth the spend. 

This product is very good. It takes off all my face makeup including mascara and brow gel. Does not dry out my skin and does not sting my eye. There is no fragrance as well so I believe it will suit people with sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend this product.

I use micellar water every day and always have a few bottles of either the Bioderma Sensibio H2O or the Bioderma Hydrabio H2O on hand.    The Bioderma Sensibio H2O is a gentle, no-rinse micellar water packaged in a clear bottle with a pink, flip top lid.   The design of the bottle makes it easy to dispense the product and to control the flow.    I have mature, dry skin so it is important to me that I don’t use products that might further add to the dryness so this alcohol-free micellar water is perfect for me.  I also like a product that feels refreshing, and one I can use throughout the year.  I don’t have sensitive skin but that doesn’t stop me from using products designed for sensitive skin.    I use the Bioderma Sensibio H20 in two different ways – either as a pre-cleanser to remove my makeup before following up with a cleansing oil or balm; or as a straight cleanser if I haven’t been wearing makeup. If I’m staying away from home for a couple of nights I just rely on the Sensibio H20 to do a good job at cleansing my skin.     Bioderma Sensibio H20 is gentle on my skin, is non-irritating and leaves my skin feeling hydrated so I can thoroughly recommend this product.  

This works well for me when comes to removing makeup. I only every wear light to medium foundation so I can't say how this will go with the more full makeup users. I would give this a 5 stars however I am not sure if this is a completely alcohol free product.

This is one product that I'm happy to pay a premium for (although you can often find it on special if you know where to look *cough* Chemist Warehouse *cough* ) I find it extremely effective in removing stubborn traces of make-up, especially those panda eyes that appear after your morning shower even though you so totally cleansed the night before. Skin feels soft after use and not dry or irritated. Recommended and repurchased.

Unfortunately I do not rate this product for removing make up. It left quite a lot of make up still on my face, I had to use multiple cotton wipes with this product on it to have clean skin. It is fragrant free and gentle enough to use around the eyes but I will not be buying this product especially when there are many others that do a better job!

This is the ultimate Micellar water and I can see why. Although the price is higher than many other Micellar waters the results speak for themselves. I have sensitive skin and eyes and this product was so gentle and I haven't experienced any irritation which is so important with a product that you don't need to rinse off.  My makeup dissolves quickly even my waterproof mascara and eyeliner without any rubbing or excess tugging. My skin feels fresh and clean not parched and tight, the Micellar water actually softens and adds a layer of protection to your skin. This is an excellent product that performs as advertised.

Sooo good! I used to remove make up and it did an amazing job. I applied it on a cotton pad, then put it on my eyelids for few seconds and wiped the eye makeup and mascara off. No extensive rubbing is required. Then I used a second cotton pad to remove make up from my face and lips. I have a sensitive skin and this product didn't cause any irritation or redness. I would definitely buy it again.

This is probably one of the best micellar waters I have tried! It is incredibly effective at removing makeup and I mean all makeup! Even waterproof mascara and eyeliner came off so easily and it didn't leave any residue behind.  It works well for all skin types and it's incredibly hydrating at well.  There is no need to rinse your face after using the product but you can should you want to.  I just pour a bit of the water onto my cotton pad and wipe it all over my face.  I place it over my eyes for around 15 seconds for it to really soak and dissolve the product and then I wipe it off.  I even like to use it as a toner to keep my skin feeling fresh and soft.
