Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Serum

This serum is super light, which is a relief for those of us who dread heavy, greasy skincare products. It feels amazing on the skin, almost like a refreshing drink of water. I've been using it for a while now, and it has truly transformed my skin. One of the things I love most about this serum is its hydrating properties. Despite being an exfoliating serum, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight. Instead, it leaves it soft, smooth, and perfectly moisturized. It's gentle yet effective, hydrating, and smells great.

I have oily and acne-prone skin and have been testing new exfoliating serums/toners so was lucky enough to trial the Avene Cleanance A.H.A. I found it easy to use and my sensitive skin did not have a bad reaction to it and I've been using it as the first step in my nigh time skincare. I find that it absorbs nicely into the skin and isn't too thick so I can easily apply other products afterwards. I've been using it for about two-weeks and have noticed a new softness in my skin, I'm eager to keep using it and see whether it has an effect on my fine lines and pore reduction.

Firstly, I love Eau Thermale Avène products and have so many tried & true products I love from this brand! This is the first time I’ve used this particular serum and whilst dealing with a few breakouts recently, this serum has come to be a skin saviour. I’ve been using this serum as part of my PM routine and each time I’ve woken up, my face became clearer, softer and smoother. No bad reaction thanks to its gentle exfoliating properties. I was so happy with how quickly the breakout cleared and the serum has continued to improve the overall texture of my skin plus even out my skin tone! The serum itself feels perfectly lightweight and absorbs nicely into the skin, leaving no sticky or tacky residue. Another winner from Eau Thermale Avène – another product that actually does what it says! Highly recommend.

Avène Cleanance AHA Exfoliating Serum is a revelation! Its gentle yet potent formula works wonders, refining skin texture and revealing a luminous complexion. I have extremely sensitive skin with texture issues on my forehead and using this every 2 days really soothed and smoothed my problem areas. Not only did it provide a very calming exfoliating effect but it also felt hydrating for my skin.

As someone always on the lookout for effective skincare products, I eagerly tried the Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Serum. Upon receiving the serum, I appreciated the sleek packaging and easy-to-use dropper applicator. The serum itself has a lightweight, fragrance-free formula, which appealed to me as someone with sensitive skin. I like that because many other Avene product contain fragrance. I found the consistency to be just right—not too thick, not too watery—making it easy to apply and absorb into my skin. In terms of results, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I noticed a slight reduction in the appearance of my pores after a few weeks of consistent use. Additionally, while I didn't experience a dramatic decrease in breakouts, I did notice that my skin felt smoother and more refined overall. I did experience some initial redness and purging when I first started using the serum, but it subsided after a few uses. Since then, my skin has been clearer, and I've noticed a reduction in post-acne pigmentation marks. Overall, while the Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Serum may not have completely blown me away, I do think it's a solid exfoliating treatment, especially for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. If you're new to chemical exfoliants like AHAs and are looking for a gentle yet effective option, I would definitely recommend giving this serum a try. It's helped improve the clarity and texture of my skin without causing any irritation, and I plan to continue incorporating it into my skincare routine.

Was hopeful for a product that could help target my redness and congested/ enlarged pores on my nose. While the product did work decently to address these concerns I felt that for the price point it left something to be desired. With other products form this bran I often find I can see results within a few weeks. Possibly my skin type just doesn’t work as optimally with this product as others? Using the product is a great experience it glides over the skin and doesn’t leave any annoying residue but would have liked to see better results.

I trust this brand, and their formula and ingredients. The reason for 3 stars is because unfortunately I find drugstore chemical exfoliants don’t work on me as well as cosmeceutical does. I did gently exfoliate and helped reduce the texture and pimples on my skin that I could feel but in return my skin would over compensate with making more oil in my pores and overall giving me that shiny effect. I would recommend this for someone who’s starting out in the chemical exfoliants world. My skin unfortunately require multiple acid peels/exfoliants for something to actually work for it.

Loved the thinness and consistency, it actually melted into the skin and didn’t sit on the surface. I didn’t see a major difference to my spots but may use it for longer as it didn’t irritate my skin. I think it works well on semi lighter spots and not as powerful as the other spot serum. Didn’t smell overly fragrant and dropper is easy to use, I don’t like to use perfume products because my skin is sensitive so this works okay for now. I would recommend this to people with normal or oily skin, it’s not super hydrating as it has a watery consistency.

I have sensitive combination oily skin. I've never got on that well with AHAs, so I was sceptical when i was sent this serum. But it has quickly turned into a staple in my routine. The serum is very liquidy. It spreads over the skin super easily and absorbs fast. Once absorbed, I don't notice it on my skin except for my skin looking smoother and more matte than it normally would. The serum has a slight clinical scent but I dont notice it for very long after applying. Normally with ahas my skin gets quite sensitive and red, but it has not with this serum. It has evened in texture, my skin is much smoother, redness appears to have decreased. Pigmentation has slightly faded and I am getting less breakout than normal. The serum comes in a bottle with a dropper applicator, which feels very luxe. However it meant that I couldn't travel with it, as it is so heavy and the bottle being glass, I was scared of it breaking. The price is more than I would normally spend on skincare, but I assume it will be included in sales, so I will be stocking up then. I have already recommended this serum to family and friends.

As someone with oily and acne prone skin I love incorporating AHA products into my skincare routine! Avene's Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Serum comes in a bottle with an easy to use dropper. The serum is clear, and slightly on the runny side, with no noticeable scent. I used this as part of my night time routine, with 2 or 3 drops on my face following cleansing and toning. The first time I used it I did notice a slight tingling around the nose area, but this disappeared after subsequent uses, so I'm pretty confident this should play well on sensitive skin. Also happy to report that it didn't cause any pilling with products used afterwards, which can sometimes be a problem! I'm not sure I noticed too much of a difference with acne on my face, but I did start using this on some acne that popped up on my chest and back, as well as the rougher skin that sometimes pops up on my upper arms, and this worked like a dream!! This gets 4 stars as I'll continue to use this on my body as needed!

I absolutely love the bottle it comes in and the dropper works really well, also a huge fan that it is fragrance free and doesn’t have one of those overpowering scents that some products have. I used this serum for 2 weeks every night and found the first few times I used it my face was a touch red, but not overly noticeable. The serum itself goes on well and doesn’t leave my face feeling oily like and dries nicely. Unfortunately for me it didn’t really make much of a difference to any noticeable blemishes I have or reduce them. I really had high hopes for this product as I have heard from others it does work great for them as it is supposed to. I definitely do recommend trying this product to see if it works for you though!

Absolutely in love with this face serum. I am so glad I started using it. My face has been significantly clear ever since adding Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Serum to my daily routine. Its watery consistency in a dropper format made application a breeze. It doesn't leave any sticky feeling after applying and has no scent to it. It was a gentle exfoliate which didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Not only does it leave my skin glowing it feels fabulous. It has helped reduce spots and improved my overall complexion. Would definitely keep using and buying in the future.

What can I say, a serum that does it all and most importantly is targeted at adult acne - unlike others in the market. Reading through the instructions is important with this serum - less is more! Having never used an Avène product before, I seeked the opinion of friends and family about the brand and the overall response was positive (and jealousy!). The consistency of the serum is a little thinner than others, however this is by no means a complaint as I was able to use every single last drop compared to thicker serums which end up being wasted in the bottle. The cleansing of the skin is not too harsh and feels quite balanced (no burning sensation or sensitivity) on my already oily and sensitive skin. I found after only 4 days a significant change in my skin, it feels clean and is not breaking out as often after a week. The fragrance I find pleasant (despite some other reviews I've read claiming it smells like vinegar). The application is easy and instructions thorough on what needs to be done. After using this exfoliating serum, I would not only consider purchasing it but also recommend to friends and family over much more expensive and less effective options out there.

Thank you so so much to review crew for sending me this! i used the cleanser form this range for the last couple of months and i saw some results but adding this into my routine WOW. i have oily and acne prone skin and i was going through a phase where my breakout where 1-2 pimples but like everyday and i used an ordinary salicylic acid serum thinking it was helping. now i see the difference. my skin has never looked and felt better. this has 100% become my favourite and i will definitely repurchase. i even recommended it to a friend so ill see what she thinks. thanks so much again to britt crew it is such a privilege❤️

I've been using this serum for about two and a half weeks, and I've found it an easy-to-use exfoliant, especially for someone with oily skin like me. I've noticed my acne scars fading quicker, which is a win. It's light, and it doesn't leave me feeling sticky, so I've been using it as part of my morning routine. It's fragrance-free, which I like because my moisturiser is not. I haven't noticed much in the way of shrunken pores, but I haven't been using it for very long, so that might still happen.

Product was amazing for clearing uneven skin tone. It takes time to see results (took me around 5 weeks) but I does make a difference. I used it once or twice a week and will be definitely keeping this in my skincare routine in the future. Texture is smooth and the serum has a nice feel on the skin, it is lightweight and doesnt effect other skincare products i use in my routine. Definitely recommend it to those who have discolouration or small bumps across the skin, as it really helped me with those specific areas.

I received the Avene exfoliating serum as part of a trial. I have used exfoliating serums before and I do like this one. It has a nice texture and applies smoothly all over my skin. I enjoyed adding this product to my skin care routine every morning for the past couple of weeks. Since I started using this product I have seen some results including, smoother skin and slightly less oily areas. I do have very oily skin so I would advise if you would like a product which provides an all over approach to oily skin, maybe try and different product. I would recommend trying this product it will last a long time as only a small amount is needed.

I was really looking forward to using Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance A.H.A Exfoliating Seruam. l had high hopes of this "game-changing" serum. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectations for me. I was looking forward to reduced blemishes and refining my skin texture, but It made my pores more noticeable. I did not notice any reduction in breakouts. I really hope that everyone else who tried this serum had a different experience and result because I have been left disappointed. I do not feel comfortable recommending this aanyone because it just was not for me - but hey, none of us have the same skin so it may be okay for you.

I am so impressed with this serum! First off, it's completely fragrance-free and odorless, which I love because I'm not a fan of overpowering scents. The bottle is even prettier in person and gives an ocean-luxury vibe. The dropper works really well, making it super easy to apply just the right amount of serum. The serum itself is just lovely. It's so light and absorbs into my skin without leaving that sticky feeling that so many other serums do. After a few weeks, I noticed my post-acne pigmentation marks and blemishes slightly lighter and my skin wasn't as oily. This serum has really improved my overall complexion and texture. I've had fewer breakouts, which has been such a confidence boost! I've already added this as one of my main serums to use in my daily skin care routine.

As someone who has very sensitive skin and issues like eczema, I have to be very careful with what I apply to my skin, especially with any exfoliating products. I did find this product to be really great, but I also did have to use it very sparingly and less than the recommended usage as I did find my eczema would flare up. Other than that, I really liked this product. My skin felt wonderful after use, and my complexion was noticeably improved. Overall I really did enjoy this product and the noticeable differences it made to my skin.
