Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner

I am always a bit hit and miss with my toner because for me it can be drying and irritating. I didn't experience any of this with Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner so I am a fan. It doesn't really smell like cucumber (menthol or something similar) which is good because it does nothing for me. I apply it to a cotton pad after cleansing and gently wipe. It feels nice, removes leftover traces of makeup and leaves my skin prepped for the next step in my skincare routine. I would recommend this product.

I have been using this toner over the past few months, and it has really helped to balance out my oily combination skin.  At first I thought that adding an extra toner into my routine would be inconvenient, but it has actually been a really quick and easy step with lots of benefits. I cleanse my skin as normal, and then simply add a few drops onto a cotton ball and gently swipe it across my face. I can continue the rest of my beauty routine without having to wait for it to dry, so it's been easy to use both morning and night. This toner is very mild, yet effective to give my skin an extra cleanse after regular cleansing. It's completely alcohol free, so doesn't sting on my skin like other toners in the past. In fact, it's actually given my skin a hydration boost after cleansing! I love the cucumber extract - it makes my skin feel soft and refreshed, and has a wonderful light scent.  I will definitely continue using this toner, and would recommend it as a light, mild toner for sensitive skin. 

I was never one to incorporate a toner into my routine, but now I have discovered  this, the extra step is well worth it. It acts like a ‘second cleanse’ removing any traces of makeup or residual cleanser. I love how gentle this toner is on my skin, especially that it is alcohol free. I have sensitive skin and found that this product works beautifully without irritating or drying my skin out.
