Klorane Hydration & Shine Quenching Shampoo with Prickly Pear

The smell of this shampoo is absolutely divine! It has such a lovely, fresh and clean scent, and it was definitely one of my favourite things about using the product. Even after washing my hair, I could still enjoy that clean, fresh feeling and scent, which made washing my hair feel a little more enjoyable. I also really liked how clean and fresh my hair felt immediately after using it. My hair felt nicely washed without feeling overly dry or stripped, and overall I was happy with how my hair looked and felt after washing. My only slight criticism was that I did notice my roots seemed to get a little more greasy than usual after a few days. This isn’t necessarily a reflection of the product itself, as I think it could simply be that my scalp wasn’t used to this particular shampoo. It’s also possible that I could have benefited from washing my hair a little more frequently while using it. I tend to try and stretch out the time between washes, so this may have contributed to the extra oiliness I noticed. Interestingly, my husband has continued using the shampoo and has had a really positive experience with it. He seems to really enjoy the product, and I’ve noticed that his hair looks healthy, clean and well cared for.

I was really excited to try Klorane Hydration & Shine Quenching Shampoo with Prickly Pear because I have never used a shampoo containing cactus before! This shampoo smells delightful and lathers really well in my hair. The shampoo made my hair feel instantly more smooth and silky while it was wet. It also rinsed out well and did not leave any residue in my hair. I definitely noticed that my hair was shinier after blow-drying. Once dry, my hair was soft and manageable. I was happy to use this product and will continue doing so in the future.

Having the Klorane Hydration & Shine Quenching Shampoo with Prickly Pear did feel like having a luxury French product displayed in my shower. The branding is clean and aesthetic and I appreciated the slimline bottle in my shower caddy product line up. The scent was mild, pleasant and refreshing and I would usually enjoy using for this reason but unfortunately found that my hair didn’t feel as soft and clean as it would with my usual hair products and that I had to repeat cleanse still without the desired affect. Perhaps my hair didn’t like the product change up or pairing this with a Klorane Hydration conditioner may have helped.

I have never tried a prickly pear product before, but it is definitely a trending ingredient. This Klorane Prickly Pear shampoo really helped my dry hair! It makes my scalp feel so clean, but without leaving my hair feeling stripped or dry. My hair definitely felt softer, smoother and way more hydrated. It has a lovely light scent and pretty colour and a little bit goes a long way. If your hair is feeling dull or thirsty, this is definitely worth picking up. It's at quite a high price point, but one bottle will last for ages I'm sure.

The Klorane Prickly Pear Shampoo is a really nice formula. It's lightweight, but super hydrating and leaves your hair feeling soft, hydrated and very silky. The perfumed scent is really lovely and light, and not overpowering at all. It feels like a beautiful lather in your hands and on your hair, and you really don't need much to get a good lather, a little goes a very long way!! Overall I really like this shampoo, I'll continue to use it in conjunction with my other regular hair products and would definitely recommend to someone else to purchase.

I have never tried any products with Prickly Pear before but I know it's a popular ingredient for hydration so was excited to try this. On application this shampoo smells lovely and gathers into a beautiful foamy experience. I was impressed that it has been made with 97 per cent natural origin ingredients and with regular use I noticed shine and softness in my wavy, dry hair. My usual texture of hair can get dry quickly and easily and being on the curly side is prone to tangles. it can be difficult finding products for this hair type but I was pleased that this shampoo had hydrating properties. I didn't find that it contributed to tangles and with consistent use hydration is more noticeable however I think the impacts would be interesting to compare when used in conjunction with the rest of the product line as intended.

To be honest, I haven't really paid attention to prickly pear and it's properties and how it can be helpful in skin/hair care, so this was my initiation. I really enjoyed the the effects of the product. My hair felt smooth and shiny, not weighed down, and hydrated despite any use of heat I throw at it between washes.
