As someone that has always had a very oil scalp, I was so excited to try out the new L’Oréal Paris Elvive Hyaluron Pure Oil Erasing Scalp Serum. I've never tried a hair serum before but it was so easy to use and the results were amazing. You need to apply it to dry hair, 10 minutes before you hop into the shower. So I just applied it while I was on my computer, set a timer and then that was my call to have a shower. It felt cool and nourishing on my scalp, and smelt amazing! It washed out easily and my scalp and hair felt super clean, with no stripping. I love that it's formulated with skincare ingredients such as salicylic acid, as my scalp deserves pampering too! Highly recommend for those oily haired girls!

This is the first time that I have used a product of this type. I was a bit reluctant to try it at first because it seemed so strange to add oil to my hair when I wanted to reduce oiliness! The product has a narrow tip which makes it easy to apply to your roots. I really didn't like the oiliness though and I was very happy to get in the shower and rinse it out. I used this product in conjunction with the L'Oreal Paris Elvive Hyaluron Pure 72H Rehydrating Purifying Shampoo and Conditioner. There was definitely a reduction in oil at the roots of my hair, even after 3 days. It definitely worked for me.

I have loved trying this range! I like to wash my hair once to twice a week pending how oily my hair gets from the gym. Towards the end of the week my roots get very oily, so trying this range has transformed my hair health. The formula contains salicylic acid which is great for exfoliating the scalp by breaking down axcess oils. I left this on to do it's thing before jumping in the shower and continuing my wash regime followed by the shampoo and conditioner. The serum is a light texture and easy to apply to my hair. I found sectioning my hair worked best for application. After using twice a week throughout the trial period, I found my hair wash cycle had more longevity to it. My scalp and hair felt cleaner for longer. Highly recommend!

Very thankful to have received this serum along with the other products in the range. I immediately liked the sound of this product because usually you are either buying something for oily hair or something for dry hair but never something that addresses two different concerns in one. Packaging is clear and purple, it’s nice. The one thing I did not like is that for this serum only (didn’t have this issue with the shampoo or conditioner) the directions for use were not in English. Maybe this was a one off and no one else has that problem. Using a translating app I was able to determine that you rub it into the scalp and leave for 10-15 mins before shampooing. It is effective at reducing an oily scalp and after the shampoo and conditioner you get what is promised, fresh oil free hair that is not weighed down.

a really great product, this serum worked magic on my scalp. My hair has looked and felt way less greasy than usual. I also found this product was very kind to my scalp that had had been in contact with bleach just a few days earlier. I will say the addition of 20 to 30 minutes to my haircare routine isn't ideal, I probably envision using this product once a month at best given my busy schedule. great product overall, hoping my hair and scalp stay grease free and looking good for a long time between washes.

Love this whole range! My hair is noticeable softer without feeling greasy or weighed down. I have long wavy bleached hair and often struggle with hydrating products leaving the ends feeling dry but dense and roots oily. I didn't have this problem with any of the products in this range and will be continuing to purchase them in the future. I dont use after wash products on my hair and with this range it really feels unneeded. It's exactly what I was looking for in a hair care range and I am so glad I found it. Also washed my daughters curly hair with it and it was tangle free, soft and not at all oily. Fantastic range id recommend every try it!

Unfortunately I didn’t get much time to try the product out and in the time I used it I did not experience any efficacy. I’ll continue to use the bottle and will update this should I notice any difference or anything else. The bottle is nice and easy to use, however I wasn’t able to locate any English instructions on the bottle and had to google it which isn’t good enough as the bottle should tell me how to use it without seeking out additional information. The serum itself was easy to rub through my roots and into my scalp and the product has a mild inoffensive scent.

This product works great for both my and my daughters scalp. My scalp tends to get oily fast with skin and product build up and her's is on the drier side, but has a lot of dry, dead skin build up. This did a great job for both of us at removing all of that dead skin cell build up and made a huge difference to how little fall out we had when brushing through our hair the next day once hair was completely dry. The formula has the same but slightly richer more intense scent than the matching shampoo & conditioner, which gives your hair a beautiful, clean and floral aroma. This was fun to use with the nozzle tip to control product distribution around the scalp and it didn't feel oily, even though it is an oil. My scalp feels much cleaner, clearer, smooth and refreshed since using this only a few times. Highly recommend!

I tried this product as part of the Review Crew. While I do have issues with my scalp getting oily quickly I feel like this product isn't quite right for me. The product I was given was in another language and I had to look up the instructions. You put on the product the night before shampooing. As a single mum who struggles just finding time to have a shower long enough to wash hair it's too time consuming for me (and chances are I'll forget). I feel like a dry shampoo or other post-clean product would be better for me. I do really like the accompanying shampoo and conditioners in this line so would be nice to see other options become available in the line.

In conjunction with using L’Oreal Paris Elvive Hyaluron Pure 72 hour rehydrating purifying shampoo and conditioner, my scalp and hair feel amazing. My hair is so soft and shiny. My daughters both tried it also and love it. My husband said that my hair looks and smells great. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future.
