I honestly didn’t even know I needed a metal detox shampoo or pre shampoo and wasn’t quite sure why or if it would make a difference—but it really worked wonders on my hair! The overall quality and feel of my hair improved significantly. It became noticeably softer, shinier, and much more manageable. I’ve got thin, fine hair that tends to take colour quickly and often ends up with that frustrating brassy blonde tone if not done right. I had a rough experience with a hairdresser who over-dyed my hair, leaving it with an unpleasant coppery brassiness. But after using this product, I truly believe it helped tone that down and removed that unwanted brassiness. This shampoo was really nice for my type of hair. I have 4 C Afro Hair and it needs a lot of moisture and doesn’t need that metallic item in its shampoo as I relax my hair as well. I found the shampoo made my hair softer and a lot. It did give a good clean and it smells amazing. I was quite disappointed when I looked up the price of the shampoo. It’s not a price that I’m willing to pay currently. Also for a shampoo, I found the bottle to be a bit small, as I have to do two shampoos when I shampoo my hair.

I’ve been using L’Oréal Metal Detox pre-shampoo for a few weeks now and my hair is feeling softer. I’ve been swimming in highly chlorinated water once a week and my hair has been getting damaged so I think this product is helping to remove those chemicals and make my hair feel less dry again, softer and shinier. I use the metal detox after swimming so just use it once a week. I don’t want to use a pre-shampoo too regularly as I’m not receiving more frequent damage to my hair and I’ve heard it’s better to use pre-shampoo treatments only once or twice a week. Once a week still seems to be helping my hair. Another positive is that I’ve been using it for weeks and the bottle still feels quite full. This is probably because I’m not using it every wash, but means I’ll have it for a long time. The smell is nice, quite neutral not too ‘perfumed’ like some grocery store hair products, more like a hair salon fragrance. The price was surprisingly high. I’ll be interested to see how long the bottle lasts to really see its value. So far it’s lasting well.

like most l’oréal products, it is a really nice sensorial experience. works really well to get styling products out of the hair before shampooing. does not leave the hair squeaky or dry. it does take some work to get it to lather, however i don’t think it needs the lather to do its job. my only concern is that i need to use more leave in products if i’ve used the metal detox pre-shampoo, as my hair can be quite voluminous and fluffy on the ends, which is not a vibe for me personally. not enough of an issue to discontinue using it though :)

I have been trialing L’Oreal Professional Metal Detox Pre shampoo for just over a month now I was a bit skeptical that a pre-shampoo would make any difference to my hair washing routine but I was surprised. I have colored blonde hair that is very fine and a bit lifeless. I do use a lot of styling products to give my hair volume, lift and style. I feel that the pre-shampoo has removed all of the product buildup on my hair and scalp and gives my hair a good clean. It makes my shampoo work more effectively. I'd never heard of a pre-shampoo before and didn't understand or realise the benefits of it. I was missing out and now that I have used the L’Oréal metal detox pre shampoo and know how well it works on my hair, I won't go back to not using a pre shampoo treatment. After only a few treatments my hair felt so soft, light bouncy and clean to the roots. Not only did the pre shampoo detox my scalp, but it left my hair feeling healthier and still hydrated. I could also go longer without needing a shampoo. My hair no longer feels weighed down with any buildup. The product also has a very lovely fragrance. It smells clean and fresh and there was definitely less breakage. I did notice also that with coloured hair, the colour appeared more vibrant. The L'Oreal Professionnel Detox Pre-Shampoo Treatment came in an easy to use pump action bottle. The shampoo is clear and has a strong offensive aftershave type of smell. Also in using the product I found I had to use a large amount of the product in order for it to lather in my hair. Unfortunately I was only able to use the product for only a short time due to it causing itchiness and small sores on my head. My hair also felt stripped of natural oils after using, making it more difficult to brush. Overall I was very disappointed with this product.

I like this shampoo, very good for color- treated hairs or bleached hair. Initially my hair were dull and with lots of breakage. But after using 4-5 times i feel my hair become stronger, soft and easy to detangle. Feeling fresh abd clean hair with long lastinv shining. Just leave it on hair for sometime then wash the hair then i found the results are better. Shampoo has got rich and creamy foam, with nice fragrance. My only downside was I had to look up instructions online as the writing is extremely small If you have hard water I’d absolutely recommend you use this.

I was gifted the L'Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Pre-Shampoo Treatment from beauty crew and have been using it for the last month. When I got it, I had to spend a bit of time trying to find the instructions to work out how it was meant to be used. It says to split hair in 2 sections and use 2 pumps on each, I was unable to spread it through my hair with that little and had to use a lot more product. In saying that, when I got the right amount, my hair felt amazing! It was soft, shiny and so easy to manage. My hair has not felt this nice for so long. It stayed clean longer and even when it’s due a wash, it still looks so much nicer than it used to.
