NIVEA Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner

This is actually my number one daily essential that keeps my skin clean and soft and happy. I find micellar waters to be too ineffective and natural toners like witch hazel irritate my skin horribly. This toner is the perfect one for me and I have been using it for a over a decade and can't see myself changing anytime soon. After trying so many other products over the years it is always a relief to come back to this, plus it's affordable and easy to find in shops!

I have used this toner throughout my 30s, 40s and 50s and I have always found it to be fabulous for my normal to dry skin.  After cleansing my skin, I follow with the toner and it certainly hydrates my skin immediately.  Face feels clean, smooth and ready for make-up for the day.  The container is a clear blue plastic and the lid has a small hole so you can easily get the amount you need on a cotton pad. No wastage. I've seen the results from using for so long morning and night and the fragrance is not overpowering.  It actually feels great on your skin.  It certainly didn't dry out my skin either.  Very happy with the product. 

I don't feel like this product even does anything... I'd rather use a natural product like witch hazel

This is a refreshing toner and I use it after cleansing to bring the pH of my skin back to normal. The toner comes in a see through bright blue bottle with a screw on cap.  The toner is watery in consistency and smells mildly of flowers. I just soak a cotton pad with the toner and swipe it across my face after cleansing. It feels cool and refreshing on my skin. I'm not sure whether my skin benefits in any other way from this toner other than it helping to bring the pH of my skin back to normal. When the pH is balanced the active ingredients in serums penetrate the skin better.  Great affordable product that I enjoy using both morning and evening post cleanse.  Pros  Affordable  Refreshing  Cons Fragrance 

I picked the Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner up at my local supermarket. So far I have found that it effectively removes excess dirt and makeup from my face after cleansing. My skin is also quite hydrated after I use the product but I still feel I need to apply a moisturiser afterwards at night.  Toner for me is something I don’t think needs to cost a lot of money so I think this is a good valued product that does the job effectively.

The smell is nice without being overwhelming , I used it after the Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleanser and was very surprised that it made my skin feel so soft, firm without pulling tight, clean and refreshed. Love it
