OGX Anti-hair Fall + Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Shampoo

This product smells amazing! If you’re not a fan of that coconut smell, then it’s not for you. That’s the initial impact it had on me and I loved it. Is a pleasant change from the previous treatments and shampoos I’ve used. Secondly, there is no greasy texture left on my hair after washing. It creates suds and washes the hair without stripping it off the oils and had silky clean hair for a few days after. This shampoo, paired with the matching conditioner would be a winning combo for when you need to change up your hair care routine.

I could not be anymore obsessed with a shampoo and conditioner smell than I am with this product from OGX. It’s so divine like a sweet iced coffee all lathered up in your hair, i recommended not putting it on in the early morning before eating it gets you hungry it’s that good. This product leaves me hair feeling so soft and luxurious, even the next few days after which I usually haven’t received from my high end salon shampoos. It lathers so nicely and really gives my hair a deep clean. My hair is has thinned from COVID with damage at the ends from bleach, so it’s really nice to see my hair get some volume and strengthening back to it. After the first couple of weeks trialing I loved it so much I paired it with OGX’s biotin & collagen oil mist after showering and it’s a pair made in heaven. My hair and I could not be happier.

Unique shampoo. It smelt a bit unusual at first but I quickly started to like it. It turned into my nightly coffee without the negative of caffine . My hair felt clean, soft and healthy afterwards but seemed knotter. My hair seemed more difficult to keep untangled. My hair still seeemed like it fell out at the same frequenancy or more but it might be removing the dead strains to create healthier ones. I also have thyroid issues which makes my hair fall out more frequent, so maybe that was the problem.

I was fortunate enough to try this shampoo as part of the review crew and wow! It is definitely the best OGX product I have tried and I've tried a lot! First off I didn't know a shampoo could smell so good, the scent lingers for days and I received many compliments. My hair was shinier and felt stronger after a few weeks. As I am only 4 months post partum I didn't notice any reduction in hair fall but my 13 year old son has longer hair and I noticed a lot less hair on his hair brush after a few weeks. I will definitely be repurchasing almost just for the scent alone, I definitely recommend!

For reference, I have long straight fine hair and typically wash my hair 4-5 times a week, and conditions about 3-4 times a week. I have used the shampoo and conditioner from this range for about a month now before the review. The shampoo comes in a typical OGX bottle. It smells delicious, literally - like the Irish liqueur Baileys. Anyone who loves coffee will love the smell. The fragrance doesn’t really linger though and is pretty much gone the next day I wake up. It has a creamy texture and lathers quite well with only a small amount. One of the key features of this shampoo is the combination of coconut and caffeine, which is meant to strengthen hair strands and reduce hair fall due to breakage. I do have quite a large amount of hair fall usually and this shampoo probably does help to reduce my hair fall by a little bit. What I also like about this shampoo is that it doesn’t dry my hair like some other shampoos do. The only downside I find is that it does makes my hair a little flat. Overall, a 4 out of 5 and I would recommend this shampoo to those who likes coffee flavour and are looking for shampoos that help to reduce hair fall.

Over the last month I have been trialling the OGX Anti-hair Fall & Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. Firstly, I really love the strong sweet scent these products have. I'd describe it as kind of banana-caramel, strangely enough, with a hint of coffee. It doesn't stick around long though and is basically all washed from the hair after rinsing. While I didn't have any issues using the products, I did feel like I had to use more shampoo and conditioner than normal to get a good lather or even coverage. This isn't ideal for such small, pricey bottles. Finally, I wasn't that impressed with the results these products gave. I can't really comment on their strengthening/anti-hair fall properties as I didn't notice any difference, but I wouldn't really expect to after only a few weeks of use. However, I felt like I had drier and rougher hair than normal after using these products. Perhaps the conditioner doesn't condition very well? I didn't like to wash with these products too many times in a row. Instead, I would break it up with my usual shampoo and conditioner every once and a while to achieve smooth and soft hair again. Overall, I didn't mind using these products, but they didn't work for my hair so I wouldn't use them again.

Possibly my new fave shampoo. I have fine oily hair and this had hydrated my hair in a way i have no seen outside of the salon.My hair can now last about 2.5 days after each wash and this has not happened with another supermarket/ chemist shampoo. Would recommend drying hair from wet with this shampoo to get the full effects of the caffeine infusion (that was the best way i got this from personal experience). The only reason for not giving it a 5 stars is the strong scent this product leaves in your hair. While a lovely scent quite stronger than i wouldve liked.

This shampoo did a great job at keeping every hair in its place! My hair hair feels stronger and I noticed a reduction in fall due/breakage. The bottle says it's infused with caffeine, coffee extract and coconut oil - the perfect ingredients for an anti-breakage shampoo. Great shampoo for promoting fuller and stronger stands.​ I also noticed that it's sulfated surfactant free and paraben free too, which is always a plus. The OGX range is in most supermarkets, making it not only affordable, but more accessible too. Do yourself a favour and try it to see the difference.

If you are a coffee lover this is THE best smelling shampoo and conditioner combo on the market. I was blown away by how gorgeously rich and decadent this product smells - the perfect pick me up! Thankfully that’s not all this shampoo has to offer. It cleans my hair beautifully without being overly drying or irritating to my scalp. I was also impressed that it didn’t weigh my fine hair down and gave me plenty of volume and healthy movement. My hair looked and felt stronger, healthier, and shinier with continued use.

This product did my hair wonders! I was fortunate enough to test this out for a few weeks and it left my hair feeling strong, thick, shiny and VOLUMINUS! I often find my hair can become greasy at the top after a few days but I did not experience this while using this product! It foamed up really nicely without even trying and feels like a high end product. AND lets not forget it smells amazing! The coffee and coconut scent is DIVINE! It makes the product feel much more luxurious and makes me want to wake up in the morning to wash my hair. Hands down would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable product that smells amazing and has great results!! It also pairs amazing with the matching conditioner!

This product was perfect for my fine hair. I’ve always had a lot of problems with hair falling out and breakage from past box dye experiences and have found a lot of shampoo and conditioners leave my hair feeling dry. This shampoo firstly smelt delicious and secondly left my hair looking shiny and feeling super soft. It’s one of the better shampoo/ conditioners I’ve used in quite a long time and will look to continue to use. I found price wise it was within reach of majority of households as it wasn’t on the higher end of the $ scale. Which is perfect given the stringent spending majority are dealing with right now.

I absolutely loved being able to try out this shampoo. I love my morning coffee and was really excited to see what this was like. The smell is devine!! As soon as you open the bottle the sweet smell off rich coffee surrounds you. The smell fills your shower and has you feeling like youre in a coffee shop. Yet it is not overpowering and the smell does not remain after you rinse out the shampoo. I have used this shampoo 2-3 times a week for the past month. I have brightly coloured hair that is colour damaged and prone to breakage. I feel like after using this shampoo for a week, my hair is definitely feeling stronger. I think that my hair is also looking shinier and more voluminous than before. The ends of my hair are by far a lot softer and less frizzy. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who has heat or colour damaged hair that is prone to breakage

This is the best smelling shampoo I have ever smelt. It reminds me of being on holiday in a tropical location. Ten out of ten for the smell. I wash my hair one to two times a week and always double wash at a minimum. The product lathered really well and I used this to double cleanse without the feeling of needing to go in a third time. When my hair dried it felt light weight and clean, really good for fine hair. I have not tried the conditioner but I use K-18 so often I do not use conditioner anyway. After I wash my hair with this product my hair doesn’t start to get greasy until day 3 which is nice for longevity. I would recommend picking up this product and giving it a go it’s a very nice shampoo and worth a go.

I have a lot of hair but it’s very thin and falls out a LOT. I do feel like I noticed less hair falling out while using this product and my hair was beautifully soft. It lathers really well and a little goes a long way. The only thing I didn’t love was the scent but to be fair I’m probably one of very few people who will say this. It’s a really strong coffee/chocolate scent which I thought I would like because I eat/drink both of those things but this is more of an imitation version and is really strong. The first week I used it I could smell it in my hair all day but I slowly got used to it and it wasn’t as strong. As I said, I think most people will really like the smell but it just wasn’t for me!

I will definitely be repurchasing this one! The packaging looks great and the first thing I noticed is the irresistible scent of this product - the perfect combo of coffee meets holiday. The shampoo lathers very well and you don't need a lot of product to feel it soaking into the scalp. The conditioner also goes a long way and instantly softens. I typically have very fine, dry, long hair and this shampoo and conditioner has left my locks feeling healthy, looking shiny and smelling luxurious. For anyone looking for a new go-to shampoo and conditioner, I would highly recommend these!

If you are a coffee and cake lover you will love the scent of this shampoo. It smells like coffee cake and is very strong. Not everyone likes that smell, but I certainly did. I must say it was a bit overpowering, but once used and washed out, there was only a faint scent of it and so many people have said my hair smells nice. I like a shampoo that foams up, as I feel it gives me a better clean as I can spread it over my scalp easier. This shampoo did not foam up, so I was worried about how clean my scalp would be. I have greasy roots and usually day 2 it shows. My hair was so clean and soft after using this shampoo, it only started looking greasy after day 3. My hair was light, fluffy, clean and shiny. I really loved this shampoo and will buy it in the future.

Oh this shampoo is gorgeous!! The smell is absolutely divine, your nose will be transported to a delicious mix of coffee, caramel and coconut. The shampoo lathers so beautifully, and leaves my oily blonde hair feeling so fresh and light! I've found I have had less noticeable breakage, and super hydrated happy hair. This is by far the best shampoo I've tried from Ogx! It really is a winner. Not to mention the conditioner too, which is incredible on my dry ends, the combination together are a match made in heaven! Absolutely recommend.

Anyone who is a sucker for nice smelling things like me will love this product! This product smells amazing!!! I have had so much compliments since using this product. I don’t wash my hair that much only twice a week but I have noticed that this product has helped my post partum hair loss which is such an amazing thing because I was so self conscious about it. I would recommend this product to any family or friends that are in need of a new shampoo. So budget friendly too and can be easily found in the shops which is another plus.

OGX usually does such cute products that smell great, and this is no exception. The gorgeous scent reminds me of a vanilla latte - perfect for when you're waking up in the morning! This shampoo lathers well, especially on a double-wash, and leaves hair feeling cleansed and fresh without any greasy or oily residue. I really enjoy using this as a post-workout product, as it definitely puts a zing in my step! Really nice. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cleansing product that's good quality as well.
