Olay Luminous Hyaluron + Niacinamide Gel Serum

I switched from my current gel serum to the Olay Luminous + Niacinamide Gel Serum almost four weeks ago as part of a trial and have been using it morning and night. I have sensitive combination skin, late 30’s with fine lines. I found the applicator dispensed a perfect amount of of product, one pump for face and neck and another for décolleté. Although is is light weight, it was thick enough in these slightly cooler months to make my skin feel comfortable and quenched. The gel consistency on the skin not sticky, it felt smooth and hydrated. I did notice that my skin after a few weeks was brighter. I’m comparison to my current serum, using the product is easier, it is just as if not more effective and there is less waste and it is also half the cost representing better value. I’ve enjoyed using this product and will purchase once I’ve finished this bottle. After a month it’s almost empty and that’s in line with how much product I’d normally go through.

I’ve always been a fan of Olay, their products just keep getting better and better. I started using the Luminous Gel Serum and after about 2 weeks I began to notice a difference in my skin tone and hydration. I’m 40+ so lol love that this product gave me fast results. The gel itself is smooth and a beautiful pearly colour. It left my skin with a glow and smoothed away my fine lines. If I was to pick a fault, I would say the applicator is a little difficult to use but not a major issue. The packaging was well thought out and appealing, describes the product and directions clearly.

This product instantly made my skin look noticeably hydrated and fresh - so lightweight and easily absorbed into the skin – doesn’t leave the skin feeling oily or greasy. Works so well with the eye gel and gel moisturiser. Would recommend using twice a day as per instructions for more noticeable results. The pump dispenser isn’t the best – sometimes you don’t get much out and have to jiggle it around a bit to get the required amount. Would definitely recommend to friends and family – along with the eye gel and gel moisturiser.

I was gifted this product to trail and it was my favourite product in the range! This gel serum is lightweight and SO hydrating. My skin is plumper and firmer than a month ago and looks absolutely radiant with or without makeup. The gel mouisturiser I found slightly too heavy to wear under my makeup, but this gel serum does not clump or cause my skin to go oily. It allowed my makeup to stay in place all day long, while my skin tone was brightened and the texture was evened. I have hyper sensitive skin and this product did not cause any breakouts or sensitivity, which is amazing for the price range. I haven’t used a gel serum like this before and will continue to use and buy to keep my skin hydrated and radiant!

I received this product as part of a trial. The packaging is so pretty and sleek. I personally do not like the method in which you pump out the product. I find it a bit tedious to use and find sometimes it doesn't suck up any liquid. The product itself is lovely and non greasy. My skin did not feel irritated by it. I did not notice any improvements in the 4 weeks that I have trialed the product other than my skin tone appearing slightly more even. I would not recommend this product to family and friends.

I received this serum to trial, and I absolutely loved the smooth consistency, its lightweight texture and superfast absorption. It was highly addictive to use, I found myself reaching for it first thing in the morning with a grin on my face. Yes, its that good. I am a huge fan of hyaluronic acid and know its value and effects on the skin well, I was not disappointed, it made my skin smoother, plumper and soft to touch. The niacinamide part of this serum equation blew me away. I have acne and it helped to calm down any spots I had and reduce the severity somewhat. It is a great product, utilising both effective ingredients to create a power pot serum. In my routine I used 2 pumps of the dropper and found this amount worked quite well for me. The product packaging is sleek and minimal which is nice and eyecatching. Overall I would recommend this product and head out to the shops to repurchase when I run out.

Excellent product for combating dry skin in the colder and windier months of winter! Quickly absorbs and does not leave the skin feeling oily!! Used with the moisturiser and the eye gel gives even more comfort and hydration to the skin and any trouble areas such as around the eyes and even the corners of the nose. I wouldn’t have expected much from any of these on their own as have tried similar in the past and not really had much effect, however this really delivers and when used as a trio, can not express how much better my skin is now feeling!!

I absolutely loved the packaging on this product. My only bug bear with some of the Olay products is that fiddly little lip thing you need to use to remove the internal lid. I feel like that design could be better. I really enjoyed using this serum. It is smooth and silky and has a pleasant smell. I was using the combination serum, eye cream and moisturiser and found the combination worked really well on my skin. I am in my mid 40's so I think perhaps I need something a little stronger these days. In saying that I loved how smooth and supple my skin felt. I just didn't notice an enormous change in my lines.

This gel serum is so so awesome. I love the feeling of the gel serum as I always used liquid or suspension type serum but the feel and application of the gel serum is absolutely gorgeous. Light weight and helped clear my dark blemishes and dryness of the skin. It goes well with play Niacinamide and hylouronic acid moisturiser. Hylouronic acid helped with dryness so much that my skin has no dry patches and now I have soft plump skin. I would recommend this product for sure and I will buy it this product in the future as part of my skin care routine.

This moisturiser smells so great. It smells so lovely. I love how hydrating it is, how it is really moisturising and my skin feels moisturised and hydrated. The texture is a cross between thin and thick but when I spread it, it spreads really easily and thinly I love Olay and I love using their products and this product is really great. I also love the packaging, it is very cute. The jar itself is cleverly designed and I love how it is not heavy as sometimes I drop things and quite often I drop it on my foot.

I found the Olay Luminous Hyaluron + Niacinamide Gel Moisturiser to be amazing for my skin. I have been using the product for over four weeks together with the serum in the same range (and eye cream). The moisturiser is light and refreshing and quite hydrating at the same time. I was a bit sceptical at the start as I thought it would be a bit too thick for my skin. The moisturiser goes well with makeup with no issues. The moisturiser is a product that become a staple in my skin care routine. The presentation of the product is lovely too, would make a gorge gift, I will (have) repurchased and recommended to others who are enjoying the product.

This serum comes in a sleek bottle with a dropper that automatically fills up when you twist open the lid. You just twist the lid and the dropper fills up with the product. Then you press the button on top to release the serum onto your skin. It's very convenient and hygienic to use. The serum is not clear like some other hyaluronic acid products but rather has a milky appearance and texture. It absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky or greasy residue. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth and radiant. It does not cause any irritation or breakouts for me, and I can apply makeup over it without any problems. Another benefit of this serum is that it smooths out the texture of the skin. My skin is more hydrated and smooth now. I have not seen much change in my pigmentation yet, but I am hopeful that it will improve with continued use. I love this serum and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hydrating and anti-aging product.

I’ve have been using the luminous hydration niacinamide gel serum every morning for over a month now. It’s glides on your skin so soothly and easily. It absorbs really quickly which is great in the morning when you do not have hours for your skincare routine. I have sensitive skin, prone to redness and this do not irritate it. Overall it look as though, this with the combination of the moisturiser, is reducing my redness which is a plus. If there were a negative it would probably be that it feels a bit watery (which I really loved) but I can see some people who enjoy the thicker serums not loving the thinner texture. I would buy again for sure.

I used this with other Olay products and at first I thought it sat on my face beautifully and left me looking fresh, hydrated and glowing but then through the day I would find after touching my face I would feel as though I had some peeling of some sort. The cream didn’t absorb properly or something and it was actually gross on my skin. The product left me feeling greasy and my nose became quite oily and it just didn’t suit my skin type. I have tried many other Olay products that worked perfectly for my skin but this was one just was not suitable and wouldn’t use again.

I found with this product that a little bit goes a long way which I find to make that buck stretch a bit further! I also have sensitive skin and I never had an issue using this product. I've never used anything like this before but to be gifted it I was more than happy to give this a go. It is so simple to apply and only a few drops needed, it quickly absorbed into my skin. I also found that it did not leave an oily residue on my skin. It is best used after a good facial cleanse and in collaboration with the other products in this line.

This serum is one of the most hydrating serums I’ve ever had the pleasure of using, and I have tried a lot of different ones out there! The product itself felt light and soothing on application, and provided instant hydration! After using it in my facial skincare routine for a few weeks, my skin feels a lot softer, younger, and has a healthy glow to it. This is definitely a product I’d recommend to others who are looking for a regime to help moisturise and firm up their skin, especially if they’re after a product that isn’t heavily fragranced.

I was lucky enough to receive a sample of this product to try and review. I used this product twice a day, incorporated with my usual skincare routine, for the last four weeks. The bottle the product comes in isn’t great. The “dropper” is confusing and it takes a few goes to pick up product out of the bottle. Instead of a standard dropper bottle that has the rubber dropper on the top. This product has a button that you have to press on top of the bottle to suck product up into the dropper. The button can be finicky and can get stuck, or the dropper itself doesn’t pick up any product. The serum itself is very hydrating, has great viscosity to it, and my skin felt plump after use. I do believe this product made my skin breakout for the first 3 weeks of use, but that could just be due to the introduction of niacinamide to my beauty routine. So be weary of this, if you are prone to breakouts when you introduce new products into your routine. I would use this product again if the packaging were to be changed.

Product did not disappoint at all. The inital impression of packaging waz impressive. The product packaging was neat and product was secure within box. When first trying on the gel I was impressed by the feel of the gel on my skin. I fou d this to be refreshing and hydrating whilst not feeling heavy. The skin was not left with any of the usual sticky or tacky feeling I have previously experienced with other gel products currently on the market. Product has a pleasant fresh crisp smell which is not everwheling. Product worked well under make-up just ensure you have allowed time for it to soak in to the skin to prevent make-up from creasing.

I have been using this product in conjunction with the moisturiser and eye gel from the same range and thoroughly enjoyed it. This serum makes the skin feel silky smooth and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. There is no overbearing scent and I love the way my skin looks and feels after using it. I find it has helped clear texture and increase moisture, leaving my skin feeling plump and glowy. The packaging feels luxurious and the dropper provides the perfect amount of product for each use. I would definitely consider purchasing this product again.

I loved this product! The serum is really lightweight and easily goes on to the skin! There was almost no smell, which meant I didn't have to worry about any off putting smells! The serum quickly absorbed into the skin, so I did not have to wait too long between putting on the serum and the moisturiser, streamlining my routine which was very helpful for busy mornings! Within a week, my skin seemed more plump and smooth, which even my husband noticed! The dropper was also very easy to use, disposing just the right amount!
