Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serum

This is a great anti ageing serum that I love. My skin often looks tired and when I use this serum it looks brighter and fresher and a lot less tired, definitely more youthful. It actually makes my skin glow, it’s a great anti ageing product, something I always look for. It’s really easy to use, the handy dropper is hygienic and delivers just enough serum. It spreads easy and sinks straight in without leaving residue or excess oil. It’s great for mornings and also night to hydrate and smooth lines. It’s a must for me and I highly recommend it

The Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serum has been a life saver and a recent addition to my weekly regimen because with a lot of stress and changes to my lifestyle, my skin has become inflamed recently. I’ve also had to wear a lot more makeup in line with my work and as such, this serum has been a life saver by calming, cooling and soothing my skin. I was a little nervous because my skin has been the most inflamed it has ever been, so I wasn’t sure if I’d experience an improvement but I noticed that it has been a lot less irritated since incorporating this into my routine and gives me a fresh healthy glow. Worth the price.

Thank you BEAUTY/Crew and Olay for letting me test run the Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serum! The serum comes in a great little bottle with a dropper attached, basically the dropper draws up the amount of serum that you need and you press the top to eject it onto your skin. The serum feels silky and smooth on the skin and has a slight shimmer/glow to it, so that it makes the skin look fresh and glow once it has been applied. I found that after using it for some time, it made my skin smoother, look less dull and it also soothed.

Let me start by saying... I LOVE niacinamide. It truly is the miracle skincare ingredient for all skin types. I am #blessed with dry skin that is blemish prone, and I have found that this serum does a wonderful job of hydrating and calming my confused skin. The serum is a lovely milky consistency, leaving the skin feeling luxurious and hydrated. My only concern about this product is the packaging- I find it hard to manage the dropper system (only because I'm old fashioned- give me a few more months and I'm sure I'll love it!).

Olay luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serum Lovely serum that is non greasy and absorbed quickly. Love the bottle, its a luxurious way to package the Serum. Really loved the auto dropper! What a neat way to dispense! I also loved on the packaging the recommended steps for use! So many products don't include this information and don't give a clue which one to use after cleansing! The Serum itself was so good. It absorbed quickly and left no residue. It helped to renew my healthy glow and even out my tone. Includes lots of great ingredients without sulphates, parabens, petroleum or even mineral oil! Greatly enjoy using this product and will definitely be wanting another bottle when this one gets low!

I was really excited to trial this serum. I am a fan of Olay products and products containing Niacinamide so I was hoping I would love this serum, and I did! Firstly, the bottle is very luxe. An iridescent pearl glass bottle with a unique silver dropper. I have never seen a dropper like it and if I’m honest, it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how it worked and how to dispense the product. The instructions printed on the packaging weren’t that easy to understand unfortunately. Moving onto the serum itself, the serum is a nice medium consistency. It has a slight “fresh” fragrance but nothing too overbearing and it doesn’t stay lingering for long. The serum is easily dispersed and you don’t need much. Once applied it soaks straight into the skin, and after application your skin is left looking radiant and glowy. Skin feels smoother, softer and hydrated. In the past some serums I have used have caused breakouts but not this one. Not 1 breakout. Only clear, hydrated skin! I would 100% recommend this product and will repurchase in the future.

I had my doubts whether this product would live up to its hype. I've used a broad range of serums in my time, from drug store to very high end. I have pretty sensitive skin, and at times I am in environments which are pretty harsh for my skin. After using this product for a few weeks, I noticed that my skin was less irritated and a lot calmer, especially for this time of the year. I've also had a very busy schedule, and it's kept my skin looking radiant, fresh and with a healthy glow. Definitely worth the price tag, it's a cult classic in the making.

I loved this serum. It was light weight - didn't feel heavy or greasy to apply. It had a nice light smell. And my skin felt dewy and fresh immediately after applying. After a few weeks, my skin felt tighter, it was more clear, less dark spots and lines around eyes felt smaller. I started skipping foundation at work because i was confident in my skin, and i really enjoyed that! All in all, I enjoyed using this new serum from Olay, and would definitely buy again and recommend to family and friends.

I received this as a sample and was excited to try it as the Niacinamide is the new power horse. I had used before by couple of other brands expensive and budget, so kinda had an expectation of the effect The bottle is decent size, the texture is quite lush. Putting it on was actually nice. It has a pleasant fragrance to it which i liked and it didn’t bother me at all. The pump worked quite well. So all in all it felt nice putting it on. Now the effect was less than expected- I didn’t expected a glow overnight but i had that matt feeling in the morning and my skin felt quite dry though i used the same moisturizer like i used before. For the two weekish i used it I didn’t see any lighting of pigmentation and i had few small spots here and there.

I received this product as part of a trial, I have loved using it and will definitely be buying it when I have finished this current bottle. The packaging is simple and the serum comes in an easy to use bottle with a lid that gives just the right amount. I found my skin looks clearer, more evenly toned and brighter in general. I felt that my skin was well hydrated after using underneath my moisturiser. The serum has a light scent that I really liked. The serum easily sinks into my face and doesn’t ball up underneath make up like some serums do. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone wanting to even out their skin tone and have a brighter complexion.

To start with, I have a pretty complicated skin type, which is oily, acne-prone, and slightly sensitive in some areas. Therefore, when choosing a skincare product I tend to love the one that is not sticky and oily and. Lucky, this new Olay Niacinamide + Cica Super serum got the texture that I want. This serum has a pretty lightweight and fast-absorbing texture. When applied to my skin, it helps add a healthy glow and liveliness to my skin, and not to mention, the consistency and the feel of this product are luxurious as well, if the product were put in a prestige brand’s bottle and given to me to try, I would believe this serum was worth at least $80 - $100. For the scent, I personally love fragrance-free products, but the scent of this product is at the acceptable level, which is not overpowering and fades away quickly when applied to the skin. Compared to Olay’s other previous products I would say the fragrance of this product is not as intense. For that reason, I can see that Olay is trying to reduce the use of fragrance in their future products and getting more and more serious in the skincare game. Another thing I like about this serum is that it is formulated without sulphates, parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, and mineral oils, which can be irritating for some skin type. It only gets good stuff such as + Niacinamide aka “Vitamin B3”, which is Olay’s favourite ingredient and is available in most of Olay’s products (helps lighten dark spot, acne marks gradually and slightly reduces the visibility of large pores), + Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, aka “Cica” (helps soothe rednesses and calm irritation) + Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine (targets dark spots and lighten them) And a lot of other great ingredients. As for the result, I have started using this serum since the 18th of Jan. Today, which has been almost 3 weeks since the day I started using the product, I can already see some slight improvements on my skin such as my rednesses are reduced and my skin tone looks more even overall. I got acne marks also and they seem to fade a bit after using the product, but compared to other improvements I mentioned above, this seems to be the less visible one. However, it is understandable since the main ingredient of this product is Niacinamide and it usually takes more than one month for Niacinamide to fully show its effectiveness. Therefore, the main key here is to be patient and keep using this product to see the results. I got this product for free to test it out, but that is not more important than how I truly feel about this product. I personally have a pretty good feeling about this new Olay Super Serum and I am so glad to see that Olay is getting more innovative by releasing new products with good ingredients and less intense fragrance. I have already got a plan of purchasing the next bottle on my own and using it in my skincare routine and of course, I highly recommend this product to everyone.

The Olay Cica Serum is a high quality soothing serum that worked wonders for my dull and patchy skin! I noticed a big difference in the smoothness, redness and radiance after one weeks use. It has a very easy to use dropper that gives you the perfect amount of serum for one use. The Cica Serum is very cooling and moisturising leaving skin feeling soft and hydrated. It has greatly helped my redness and soothed the dry patches and I have a new radiance in the morning. I would highly recommend it for anyone who would like to have radiant, soft and hydrated skin.

At 36 years young, I’ve tried everything to hide tiered looking skin due to being overworked and sleepless nights with the kids....... if they bought out organic cat s**t with miracle oils from Mars that would make my skin look 18 years old again, I’d even give that a try. However no need for that ...... this Olay product has worked wonders, I now have a glow which has prompted a co-worker to ask if I’ve been out in the sunshine (I’m like a vampire and don’t do the rays). My skin is not looking like I’m 18 again, I’m afraid that ship as sailed but it is glowing and silky smooth after just a couple of weeks of using this potion morning and night. (And the added bonus is that it contains no nasties...... not even cat s**t) It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly, it can feel a little sticky when you first apply but by the time the teeth are brushed it’s absorbed into the skin and you forget it’s even been applied. It’s a thumbs up for me and will be a everyday product for morning and night, the only gripe I have is the pump bottle...... yes this looks classy and nice in the bathroom but it’s a pain to screw it back for that second pump of the product....... it would be great if it was just one pump that could be slapped straight on my face.

Highly recommended. I really like how the information provided on the package are clear and helpful particularly the recommended skincare steps. Texture is great, slightly watery compared to some other serum but that makes it suitable to use in any seasons. It doesn't create that heavy feeling on skin. It really helps with my skin. Usually my skin turns dull and "grey" when I am not sleeping well but I could see that my skin looks bright and fresh. It really helps solving the tired-looking skin problem. It is also gentle on skin. I don't have very sensitive skin but could get acne or pimple from some products but this is fantastic. Love the cap design too.

I really enjoyed the Olay Cica serum. I'm a regular user of serums, so I was willing to give this serum a try not thinking it would be any different from the other serums I've used regularly. I was actually pleasantly surprised when using this serum what a difference it made for me. My skin is looking brighter and feels smoother to the touch. I have since gone out and bought the other serums from this range to try them also, even though I plan on finishing up this one first. The dropper is a little difficult to use at first, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of how to use it. The bottle is quite luxurious and feels nicely heavy in your hand when you pick it up. I used this both morning and night religiously, after toner and before wither my night moisturiser or sunscreen moisturiser.

Wowsa, I've always been a fan of Olay as I like well know brands that have stood the test of time and still am with this product! The fancy names always put me off but I loved this serum! My skin looks and feels great and hydrated which is my biggest issue at the moment. The pump is great for a controlled amount which glides on and feel fabulous! It also makes my makeup apply more easily by providing a great base. I will be buying again and making this a regular part of my routine. I recommend giving it a go as its been great for myself.

The Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serum comes in a nice metallic looking box, with handy recommended steps, which I like. It makes the process of buying products much easier, as you can just pick up the right products when purchasing. I have been using it for over a week, morning and night, and really like the changes to my skin. It looks much more radiant and smoother. The serum has a fairly runny consistency, but it absorbs really well, and feels nice on the skin. It is very gentle on the skin and doesn't have a fragrance, which is my preference. The bottle is fancy, it has a shimmer and isn't your usual pump bottle. It has a dropper, where you need to twist the lid a little bit until the top pops up, then click the lid twice to suck up the serum, then pull the lid off and deposit the serum with the dropper by pushing the clicker. To be honest, I had to Google how to do this as I couldn't follow the box instructions!! I prefer a standard pump bottle, which is why I gave 4 stars. I like to have quick and easy access. It certainly feels luxe though! I used it as a primer too, and it works great. My makeup applies nicely and has a smooth finish, as well as lasting the day. It has a list of 'nasties' that the product is formulated without: sulphates, parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, mineral oils. This can't be a bad thing! Overall, I am pleased with this product and certainly feel my skin is glowing from using it.

First, how nice is the packing of this serum? It comes in a glass bottle with a unique twist pump which will preload the serum everytime you open it. The serum is very lightweight and easy to absorb into the skin. It leaves the skin hydrated all day. From the ingredient list, this serum also contain Panthenol (vitamin b5) which helps with hydration and loads of other skin benefits . Olay did not advertise this ingredient but it reckon they should because I love to mix my vitamin b5 and b3 together ;) I combined the Olay serum in the morning with vitamin C, at night I use it with vitamin A. This combo has helped to reduce my acne scare and improve my skin tone. Overall the skin look brighter and more even. This serum itself has a light fragrance which I don’t mind and it goes away once the product is absorbed into the skin. Overall, I would continue to use this serum and repurchase it in the future.

Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Cica Super Serumis a great serumto start the day, it is beautifully packaged took a while to figure out how to open it but after that it is effort less and classy. I am a fan of Niacinamide, have been using various brands for years. but love the texture and how easily it glides and absorbs. It doesnt pill with sunscreen like most others do. Noticable reducion in redness. Would highly recommend this to all my friends. Would like to know the percentage of niacinamide in this as the ingredient list doesnt specify the potency.

Olay Niacinamide +Cica Super Serum has a lightweight, easily absorbed formula that layers fantastically with my regular skin care routine, and leaves the skin looking lit from within. While trialling this product I was slightly sunburnt, and I found that this serum was indeed soothing, as well as being very hydrating. There is an impressive mix of ingredients here with a particularly pleasing amount of niacinamide, and I have already seen a change in the texture of my skin. Wearing face masks leaves me with quite red, sore breakouts on my jawline, which since using this have completely calmed down, lost their redness, and started healing! I especially enjoyed using this during the day under makeup. I am a fan of a radiant, dewy finish and using this serum achieves this through both its active ingredients and the inclusion of mica. It almost has the effect of a soft illuminating primer, so if you love looking glowing, this is for you. I will continue to use this product, particularly in winter when my skin is a bit drier. It did lose a star though for having more fragrance then cica- though the fragrance is mild and pleasant.
