Perfect for curls
I have trialled the Thanks To Nature Cool Curls with Aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner for the past few weeks. The packaging is a fresh, fun and funky bright colour combination and dispenses product in the shower like a dream. The shampoo smells delicious thanks to the fresh addition of aloe vera and lathers into a think and thoroughly cleaning foam. My hair feels so shiny and hydrated afterwards and my curls naturally look so bouncy and well formed! I am able to get away with twice weekly cleans which for me is unusual! I would highly recommend to anyone with curly hair.
Love this range!
I’ve been using the Thanks to Nature Cool Curls Shampoo and it’s been a really nice surprise. It has a light foam that cleans my hair well without stripping it, which is always a win for curls. My hair feels clean but still hydrated after washing, not dry or tight. I’ve noticed my curls look more defined and feel softer, and the aloe vera and panthenol make it feel like my hair is actually being cared for while cleansing. It also has a subtle, fresh fragrance that leaves my hair smelling great without being overpowering. A great everyday cleanser if you want clean, healthy curls without losing moisture. I double shampoo and have seen a massive uplift in how clean my scalp feels.
New favourite shampoo!
I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by this shampoo - it gently cleanses my curls without stripping them and leaves my hair feeling soft, refreshed and bouncy thanks to the aloe vera and panthenol-rich formula designed to hydrate and define textured hair. It has a lovely light scent that lingers and a nice lather that makes wash day feel like a treat. After a few washes, my curls feel cleaner, more lively and easier to style, and I love how it works with the matching conditioner to boost hydration and curl shape. For the price and a natural product it’s a solid, everyday shampoo that keeps my curls feeling healthy and moisturised.
Smooth and sassy
I really like the Thanks to Nature Cool Curls shampoo and conditioner. They work really well for my textured hair, leaving it feeling smooth, soft, and easy to manage. The shampoo cleanses without stripping my hair, and the conditioner provides great moisture without feeling heavy. My curls feel more defined, less frizzy, and feels lighter and healthier overall after using this range and it smells pretty good too. I like that it feels lightweight in hand as well as I’ve battled with many heavy and oily products. This feels fresh and smooth. I would recommend this product to other textured hair humans!
Gentle shampoo with aloe benefits
I’ve been using the Thanks To Nature Cool Curls Shampoo with Aloe Vera on my curly hair and am loving it so far. It is light, with very pleasant fragnance and gentle. Initially I found it to be runny and it does not lather a lot so I didn't know how much amount to use. But afer a couple of attempts I nailed how much amount works and cleanses without stripping my hair too harshly. The aloe vera in the shampoo helps improve curl definition and made hair more manageable when paired with conditioner.
Overall, it’s a good everyday option if you’re after a gentle cleanser with a nice fragrance, but it’s best paired with a rich conditioner for optimal curl hydration and softness.
Gentle Cleanse
The cool curls shampoo is hard to lather up to cleanse my hair scalp. I had to try mixing it with some water/more shampoo and it still was tough to get a cleanse.
My hair air dried but wasn’t particularly curly. It was ok but not much of a noticeable difference. It did smell good though - floral and sweet. The shampoo bottle is dark pink and easy to distinguish with the light pink of the conditioner bottle.
I have tried their Nourishing shampoo and conditioner and I loved that formula from the brand over this cool curl formula.
Great product
What a great shampoo! I love the consistency, it always made my hair feel squeaky clean which helped with product application and styling after the shower for my curly hair. The packaging is really cute in the pink colour and it definitely does the job.
This shampoo is genuinely great for my curls! The aloe vera really helps to define them and keeps them feeling super soft and hydrated without weighing them down. I've noticed a lot less frizz since I started using it, which is a huge plus. It also has a really pleasant, subtle scent that isn't overpowering at all.
The bottle is a bit hard to squeeze, especially when you are in the shower and everything is already slippery but apart from that it is a great product!
Don't waste your money, get something else
Other than the aesthetic and functional packaging and the delicate scent, I can't say there's much else to praise. Being a product that is heavily marketed as a curl defining shampoo I would expect more from it. My curls didn't appear or feel any more defined than if I were to use a standard hydration shampoo. Alongside this, as a shampoo I would expect it to effectively cleanse my hair but this was also not achieved. Sometimes it would take up to 4 washes for my hair to finally feel somewhat clean and therefore was using a ridiculous amount of product. It simple does not seem cost effective. There are definitely better options out there.
More defined curls
I’ve got naturally curly hair that frizzes easily and usually feels dry no matter what I use, so I didn’t expect miracles. But the Nature Cool Curls shampoo genuinely surprised me. It cleans without stripping my hair, which is rare. My curls felt soft straight out of the shower instead of squeaky and tangled. After a few washes, my curl pattern looked more defined and less puffy, especially around the crown where I normally struggle. It also has a light, fresh scent that doesn’t linger in an overpowering way. I noticed less breakage when detangling and my hair stayed hydrated for days. It feels like it’s actually made for curls, not just labelled that way. I finally don’t need to fight my natural texture.
Shampoo
I’ve been using Nature’s Curls Shampoo with Aloe Vera for several weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. From the first wash, it left my curls feeling clean, soft, and defined without stripping them of moisture. The gentle aloe vera formula is incredibly soothing—it didn’t irritate my scalp at all, and the subtle, fresh scent is a lovely bonus. My curls now look bouncier and healthier, with less frizz and more natural shine. I also appreciate that it lathers beautifully and rinses out easily, making wash days much more enjoyable. Overall, this shampoo has become a staple in my hair care routine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with curly or wavy hair looking for a hydrating, effective cleansing experience.
Soft, Defined Curls
Thanks to Nature Cool Curls Shampoo with Aloe Vera has truly improved my curl care routine. From the first wash, I noticed how gentle yet effective the formula is. It cleanses thoroughly without leaving my hair feeling dry or stripped, which is something I really value with curly hair. The aloe vera adds a soothing, hydrating boost that keeps my curls soft, moisturised, and noticeably easier to manage. I’ve also seen a big difference in curl definition—my hair looks more controlled, with less frizz and more natural bounce throughout the day.
The scent is fresh and calming, not overpowering, and the texture lathers well without feeling heavy. I appreciate that the brand focuses on clean, nature‑inspired ingredients, which makes the product feel both safe and high‑quality. Since using it consistently, my curls maintain their shape even in humid weather, and my hair feels healthier overall. This shampoo has become a reliable favourite in my routine, and I’m genuinely happy with the results it gives my curls every single time.
Great for the curly girls
While I can definately see a change in my curls which appear alot smoother, I was very confused about the shampoo not lathering, and in my postpartum confusion I assumed I had picked up the wrong bottle so I tried again with the same result.
I would definately keep using the shampoo on the basis that it is a great result on my hair. I could definately feel that my hair was smoother and much more hydrated, with a noticable change in hair smoothness.
I might purchase again depending on the price, but maybe not likely.
A great kids curl shampoo!
I’ve been using this shampoo consistently for a few weeks now, and while I wanted to enjoy it, it just didn’t quite work for me.
The texture and feel weren’t what I expected, it’s on the watery side and doesn’t lather up very much, which makes it feel like it isn’t really doing a deep clean. I know some curl-friendly formulas aren’t super foamy, but this one left me unsure if it was washing through my hair properly.
I have bleached, dry hair that’s prone to frizz, especially in humid weather, and unfortunately I didn’t find this shampoo hydrating enough. It doesn’t have a very strong fragrance and the idea of aloe vera is appealing but I was still left with frizz and dryness, so my curls didn’t feel more defined or moisturised like I had hoped.
That said, it didn’t go to waste. I ended up using it on my 2-year-old who has beautiful natural curls, and it works really well for her hair type. Her curls feel clean and soft, and the light formula doesn’t weigh her hair down at all. For finer, lighter curls, this shampoo seems much more appropriate than for thicker, damaged hair like mine.
Overall: A gentle, budget-friendly cleanser that might suit kids or anyone with fine/light curl patterns, but it didn’t deliver enough moisture or curl definition for my dry, bleached, frizz-prone hair.
Thanks to Nature Curls Shampoo
A curl‑friendly shampoo lives or dies by how well it balances cleansing with moisture, and this one does a solid job. The formula feels gentle on the scalp, removes buildup without that squeaky‑stripped feeling, and leaves curls noticeably softer and more defined. It lathers lightly—enough to feel clean but not enough to disrupt your curl pattern—and the hydration boost helps reduce frizz once everything dries.
If you’re looking for a shampoo that supports bounce and shape rather than flattening it, this is a dependable choice.
Lightly lathering
Having thick curly hair I prefer a shampoo that lathers well and unfortunately this once doesn't lather how I like. Having said that though, I still like the shampoo - I just need to use slightly more than I normally do to get that lather.
I think this shampoo has a really nice smell and I do think the packaging is a stand out. It definitely catches my attention.
This shampoo doesn't make my hair feel dry or stripped and my hair and scalp both feel nice and clean afterwards.
I would use this again as my hair feels softer.
Nice shampoo
I really enjoyed using this shampoo and how gentle it feels on my curls. It cleans my hair thoroughly without stripping it or leaving it feeling dry, which is something I always worry about with shampoos. The formula lathers easily, so a little goes a long way, and it makes wash day feel simple and satisfying. The scent is lovely and fresh, making the whole experience feel more luxurious. After rinsing, my hair felt clean but still soft, not squeaky or tangled. My curls didn’t feel stressed or frizzy, and my scalp felt refreshed without any tightness. What I appreciate most is that it leaves my hair feeling balanced, clean, light, and ready for conditioning.
Needs a bit more tlc
Cute but has a bit of a ways to go. First packing: super cute, I love the pink & it definitely stands out (although the plastic mixed with the shampoo scent has a weird combo) especially when it’s been left in the Queensland heat. It’s also a little runny. I like the idea of it but the execution fell through. My hair felt more dryer than normal post wash. I think it sadly falls under the regular supermarket shampoo. My hair was still super frizzy, dry & needed treatment afterwards. Sadly I couldn’t recommend.
Not for curly dry hair
I was really keen to try this as I have curly, dehydrated hair and I’m always on the hunt for something more nourishing. The packaging is lovely and I really like the colour choice, it looks great in the shower. The scent is also beautiful and my hair smelled really nice once it was dry.
That said, the formula wasn’t what I expected. The shampoo felt quite runny, which surprised me for a product marketed as hydrating. While washing, my hair actually felt a bit dry, which is an odd feeling mid-shampoo. When rinsing, the ends still felt dry and slightly tangled, and unfortunately the conditioner didn’t seem to make much of a difference either.
Overall, it just didn’t deliver the hydration I was hoping for, and I’m not entirely sure what hair type this range would suit best.
Fantastic!
I have recently incorporated this shampoo into my routine and am happy with the results. Not only does it come in the most aesthetic bottle I've ever seen but the product itself is absolutely fabulous. It has the most beautiful scent and consistency and I love that it lightly lathers because it feels non stripping and gentle. My hair once washed feels soft and clean. I have coloured hair and this does not strip my colour at all. My curls look more defined, less frizzy and shiny. I am very happy with the results.
So good for thick curly hair!
I’ve been using Thanks to Nature Cool Curls Shampoo with Aloe Vera, and it’s amazing!
My thick hair feels so soft, hydrated, and easy to manage after every wash.
I think it's the aloe vera that really helps keep my curls defined without weighing them down, and it leaves my scalp feeling really fresh.
The cute pink bottle is such a vibe—it looks great in my shower and makes me smile every time I see it.
If you have thick or curly hair and want something nourishing that smells great and is pretty affordable, I highly recommend this shampoo by Thanks to Nature, and definitely followed by the Thanks to Nature conditioner.
