TRESemmé Pro Collection Shampoo Keratin Smooth

I like this large red bottle of shampoo with a flip top lid. When I was close to end of this shampoo bottle the black flip top lid did come off in the shower, however it was an easy issue to fix. The added ingredient of keratin kept my hair silky and my flyaways were more manageable. The scent of the shampoo was pleasant nothing overpowering or perfumed. I like that bottle is made from fifty percent recycled plastic. maybe Tresemme can try and aim for bottles made from one humdred percent plastic.

When I was generously offered to trial The Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo, I was quick to respond happy to try anything that could possibly restore my dry damaged hair. Along with keratin, the formula contains avocado and marula oils to smooth hair and prevent frizz. The shampoo comes in a red plastic bottle with 675ml of product. It isn't completely opaque making it easy to see the contents of the bottle. The plastic is made of recycled material. The product has a lovely fragrance that is not overpowering. The shampoo lathers quickly and rinses out easily without making my hair feel stripped. This shampoo removes all build-up without being harsh on my hair, leaving it freshened and smelling nice. I have enjoyed using the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo because it is gentle on my damaged hair, but does a great job of cleansing. Certainly bang for your buck!

The Pro Collection Keratin shampoo definitely met my expectations, normally I use a high end shampoo but this was very comparable. It smelt luxurious and it was so creamy and lathered up so well without being drying or stripping on my hair. This definitely smoothed my blonde coarse hair and made it easier when blow drying and I definitely didn’t need to add as many products afterward like a normally would have to for for taming and smoothing. If you are looking for a high quality budget shampoo this is it.

I have loved tresemme for years and will continue to. Afforable and get a lot if product for your buck. I have very long hair and this product smooths and tames my frizzyness. Makes your hair feel very soft and silky. Doesn't way down my hair and allows me to style easy. Doesn't trip anyway any colour or toner from your hair and can be used regularly however I use twice a week. I love keratin products as they add such a lustres feel and look and the oils simply make hair so hydrated. Would 100% recommend.

I received the TRESemmé Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner to trial as a REVIEW/Crew. I have thick, wavy hair and if I don’t use the right products my hair is prone to looking and feeling dry and frizzy. Before trying these products, I have only purchased and used professional salon shampoo and conditioner brands for many years, so I was pleasantly surprised with the results from these two hair products. The bottles are nice colours, and make it easy to distinguish the shampoo v conditioner in the shower, which makes life easier for someone who wears glasses. I was impressed to see that the bottles are made with Australian recycled plastic and are recyclable. I was also happy to read that the products are free from nasty ingredients such as silicones, sulfates, parabens and dyes as these are often used in hair products and are not good for wavy (or curly) hair. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner is nice and not overpowering, an almost tropical scent. I found the consistency of the shampoo good, and it lathered and cleaned my hair well. The conditioner wasn’t as thick as the professional conditioner I have, so I was tempted to apply more than I would normally use. After washing and drying my hair with the TRESemmé Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner, it felt smooth and soft, and most importantly it looked and felt frizz free, so I was rapt. However, I try to only wash and style my hair every 2-3 days, but with these products I unfortunately didn’t have “gorgeously silky hair for up to 72 hours”, only for the first 24-36 hours. By the second day my hair felt heavier and greasier than it does when I use my professional hair care products, so I needed to wash my hair more often. As I was generously given 2 x 675ml bottles of the TRESemmé Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner to try, I will use these products in summer when I wash my hair more regularly and air dry it more. I’m not sure if I’d purchase the TRESemmé Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner instead of my salon professional hair products, but for the price and the results that I saw with my hair, it’s definitely worth a try. I found that using TRESemmé Pro Collection Shampoo Keratin Smooth was great in controlling the frizzy nature of my curly and unruling hair. My knots were more easily untangled and after drying my hair felt silky smooth and had a glimer of shine too. I liked that it contained Keratin, Avocado Oil and lush Marula oil. It also cleansed my hair well. This will become a staple purchase as was quite impressed by the results Plus it is well priced. I also used the Tresemme Keratin Smooth conditioner.

For some reason I didn't have high expectations, but I really loved it. Normally i use salon shampoo and conditioner. It lathered up really well and didn't need to use a lot. While washing it did feel like it was stripping my hair as it felt a bit like straw, I used the conditioner that went with it and blow dried great. Husband even commented that he liked the smell of my hair. Would love it if it had a pump on top to dispense like my salon shampoo i just find it easy in the shower. Packaging was nice its easy to tell the difference between the shampoo and the conditioner. Over all i would recommend this as its works great and great value.

I tried this shampoo and conditioner as part of the review crew. I have short, coloured hair which tends to be dry and a bit frizzy so I was keen to see if these products made any difference to my hair. I found that they lathered up really well so I only needed a small amount. It felt quite thick when I applied it and the fragrance was really pleasant. After using both products, my hair felt smoother and it felt like it had more body. I thought it looked shinier and healthier too. The bottle was a good size for the recommended retail price but the bottles are quite large to fit in my shower rack. Overall, I was happy with these products and would most likely purchase them.

I found this TRESemme` pro keratin smooth shampoo adds so much shine to my hair. From the first use my hair felt clean but not coarse or stripped like some other shampoos can leave it feeling and was shiny and smooth when used in conjunction with the Keratin smooth conditioner. I didn't notice less frizz, but live the shine, hydration and smoothness this shampoo added to my hair. The shampoo has a lovely fresh scent that isn't too overpowering and a little goes a long way. It also lathers up nicely too. The only downside I found was I dont like the style of packaging, I would much prefer a pump style pack as I find it easier to use.

My hair is thin and dry, so frizz is pretty normal for me. I was excited to try this product but was very disappointed, I didn’t notice or feel any difference. It cleans well, smells good, but didn’t hydrate my hair or tame the frizz. As an all round shampoo it worked well, I didn’t have any residue or weigh down. My hair was semi easy to brush afterwards, it definitely wasn’t silky or tangle free. It seems to have worked for others so it may just be that my hair is too thin and frizzy for this product to work properly.

I have thin hair but lots of lots of it! Which makes for very easily tangled and frizzy hair after washing. This shampoo is a great size, easy to use packaging, stands up easily it the shower, very affordable pricing, smells great and does what it says it will do. It left my hair smooth and shiny and manageable without feeling heavy or having product residue. It normally takes me about 10 minutes to brush my hair after I have washed it because it gets so knotty and I have to carefully section it but it only took a few minutes I was pleasantly surprised! I used it and then left it to dry naturally and also used and blow dried and curled my hair and both times my hair was soft, smooth and shiny. I would definitely recommend this product and will purchase it in the future

As I used the shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with one another, my review applies to both products together, as i can't particularly attribute one function/benefit to one or the other, but both together. I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I have tried Tresemme shampoo/conditioner in the past that just hasn't worked for my hair type. I noticed that my hair felt smoother and softer after one wash of the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is prone to frizz. My hair was definitely less frizzy the day after using this product, but unfortunately this didn't last for day 2 and 3. The fragrance is subtle and unoffensive, but i do like a fragrance in my hair that smells delicious and gives you a fresh smell of it every time you move your head or flip your hair. The price point is amazing, such a big bottle at an affordable price! The packaging is functional, but i prefer a pump, particularly with the large bottle size. When your hands are wet and slippery, a pump is more user friendly, but I'm sure a pump would increase the cost. Overall, happy with this product and will continue to use.

The bottle is a great size for the price. Easy to use and dispense. The fragrance is nice and you only need a small amount which again means it is great value for money. The shampoo lathers and foams up nicely for good coverage and made it instantly smooth and silky after rinsing, which easily tinder out and left no reside in my hair. It was also easy to brush afterwards with minimal knots or tangles in my hair. I definitely noticed a reduction in frizz after first use. My hair felt smoother and shiny once dried. I would recommend this product to others.

I love tresemme as a drug store shampoo but I generally go for a higher end, more natural shampoo. I didn’t get much time to try out this shampoo but I love the scent and it does make my hair feel very soft (in conjunction with the conditioner). It doesn’t make too much difference in regards to frizziness but I generally have quite frizzy hair so I don’t expect too much from a shampoo and conditioner! Lastly, my hair was quite shiny after using this product, I’m not too sure about the long term benefits though!

I trialled TRESemmé Pro Collection Shampoo Keratin Smooth and its corresponding conditioner. I thought it was amazing. In addition to using it on my coloured and wavy frizzy hair, I also used it on my daughters natural hair. I was so impressed at the beautiful shine and bounce in my daughters hair as a result of using this shampoo. The results were not as noticeable or outstanding in my hair but still enough to make me happy. My hair, with its wave pattern is prone to frizzy when brushing it. The tresseme products certainly helped to relax this. The shampoo was thick with a really fresh fruity floral scent. My one complaint, if you can call it that, is that the big bottles can be a little difficult to manage in the shower. I'd personally prefer a pump bottle, but understand its more environmentally friendly to save on plastic. This shampoo (and conditioner) are definitely worth a try!!

Found this shampoo very strongly fragranced, very smooth to apply and also easy to create a thick lather. My hair felt clean and light after using it, and had a huge amount of body and was easy to brush after! Definitely felt different from my usual shampoo. I thought the size of the bottle was very generous but would have preferred it to have a pump, as tipping the bottle to use it felt heavy after a while. I have used Tresemme before and so it was not too different from what I was expecting. It worked very well with the conditioner as well.

TRESemme never seem to dissapoint when launching new hair product lines and the Keratin Smooth range is really impressive. The Keratin Smooth shampoo formula is well balanced with lather and fragrance, washing away the dirt and pollutants in your without leaving your hair stripped dry. The packaging is nice visually and easy to squeeze the product out since it's made of recycled plastic. After using this and the conditioner it has made my hair a lot smoother and soft to the touch and would definitely repurchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. First of all, the bottle is a great size for the price. The scent is lovely without being too overpowering and the shampoo itself is lovely and silky. The shampoo lathers really well and it felt really easy to rinse out without leaving any residue. I noticed after one wash that my hair felt super silky and soft. I did also notice a lack of frizz which was a nice surprise as I often find anti-frizz shampoos are all talk. Would definitely recommend to those with frizzy hair.

My hair is sadder than a Greek Tragedy. There’s so much wrong with it, and top two of its worst features is the frizz. It’s like each strand is a magnet and they repel each other. WHAT IS SMOOTH??? So I was equal parts excited and dubious about how this shampoo and conditioner would work for me. And I’m happy to report that yes, they do work. Yeah, my hair is still frizzy. That’s just the texture of my hair - think scarecrow hair. :( But these products deliver. My hair is not as frizzy as usual. It’s so much more relaxed. I’m actually in shock that it works so well. This shampoo is by far the richest and creamiest in texture that I’ve ever come across, and it’s such a satisfying, silky experience washing my hair with this. I can literally feel the shampoo smoothing during the washing process, coating all the strands like a barrier. The scent is really nice, too. It’s rich and somewhat floral, and if you’re a fan of lathering shampoos, this is the one for you. This really foams up big time, and it glides through the hair without catching or tangling at all. That in itself is a huge selling point for me. And a little really does go a long way which also makes the pricing excellent. These are huge bottles at 675ml, so they’re going to last a long time, and for only $13 each, they’re a bargain. I’ll definitely continue using this shampoo. Beautiful scent with creamy texture, actual results and great price. You seriously can’t go wrong with this.

I usually tend to use hairdresser/salon shampoos, conditioners, etc for my very long, wavy hair, hoping that paying high cost for these products will equal better results. I was pleasantly surprised to find this shampoo did something that those expensive products didn't - as soon as I lather up with the others, my head is full of dry coarse knots that even after conditioner and treatments, can still feel really awful. In this case, after the shampoo only (!!!) , my hair felt so silky soft and smooth, no knots whatsoever. The smell was lovely and not too overpowering. I like that the range is free from sulphates and silicones, and it really seems like a bargain for the cost considering the size of the bottle. I will definitely buy this in the future!
