John Frieda Frizz Ease® Extra Strength Serum

This hair serum is loaded with silicones, which I don't mind, as they are good for heat protection and smooth out frizzy hair. The product is easy to dispense from the pump and I use two pumps on my long coarse hair. It feels slightly tacky but spreads out nicely without leaving any oily residue. It does a good job of protecting my hair from the heat from the hair dryer. It's definitely safe on colour-treated and chemically-treated hair as claimed. It does reduce frizz for me and my hair stays looking smoother the next day. It doesn't really feed or nourish the hair, but I'm ok with that since I have other products for that.

I use the John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects™ Serum on my daughter's long, unrurly hair and it has been working great! After washing her hair at night, i disperse 1-2 pumps of the product through her hair and let it dry naturally.  The next day her hair is MUCH easier to brush and is far less frizzy. There is very little scent and it doesn't weigh her hair down or make it feel or look greasy.  Next time i am shopping i will buy the matching shampoo and conditioner and see how they work together.  

I have wasted a lot of money trying different anti-frizz products just to see if there’s something better out there, but I always come back to this. I’ve been using it for years and it’s still the best for my fine, thin frizzy hair. Nothing works better than John Frieda products starting with the Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum. Just a small amount into the palm of your hands (not too much) then rub the product between your hands to warm it up and then work it through your wet hair. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling dirty or weighed down like so many products do. Just clean, light, frizz-free hair. It’s truly the best there is. Don’t waste your time or money on anything else. 

Having hip length hair and highlights, brushing is a struggle. And takes very long time for my hair to airdry. Therefore, I need serums and leave in products (besides masks and good conditioners) to help. This serum makes my hair more manageable. After towel drying, I apply the serum and brush trough (with large natural bristle/nylon hybrid paddle brush) to evenly distribute along all of the strands. And when in a rush, blowdry. Using this serum helped with brushing, made it so much easier. And have noticed no damage from heat styling. Serum is very affordable and lasts a long time. And does what it needs to for me: helping with brushing, manageability and heat styling. Also, have no frizz when using it. It is not heavy either, does not weigh hair down. And I have fine textured hair, plenty of it.

My hair is very damaged from bleach and sun damage and this is the first oil I've used that both makes my hair feel silky smooth without the drawback of my hair feeling gross and oily at the end of the day. I've noticed a huge reduction in the amount of split ends I've got and would definitely recommend it for those who have a lot of split ends and dry hair.

My hair is pretty dry and can get a lot of flyaways, and is also prone to tangling, so I love to use this product as it’s almost like an all in one product for me. I take the tiniest amount and smooth it through the mid lengths to ends of my hair, while it is still damp after washing it. It makes it so much easier to brush (seriously, on a bad day I’m almost ready to embrace the dreadlock look as my hair just tangles like crazy after I wash it) as it coats the hair and makes it so much more manageable. It can be used as a heat protectant and I get best results with this product when I blow dry my hair, it protects it from damage and tames my flyaways and gives a nice healthy shine to the hair. You don’t need much of this, and I imagine if you used too much things could go wrong quick, so I just use the smallest dot, warm it up in my hands and smooth it through. It smells nice as well, although I don’t notice much of a scent in my hair after using, so if you dislike fragrance this is a great one for you. I can go about 3-4 days with this product in my hair without washing, so I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down or adds any oiliness to the hair either. All in all, I totally rate this product, and if I ever need to buy it again I would, although with the tiny amount I use it will be a very long time before I have to consider repurchasing.

I love that this serum plumps up and defines my natural curls, which are typically thick, frizzy and unruly. It also adds a fantastic shine, although can be heavy and tends to leave residue that is hard to wash out, I usually have to wash twice to completely remove it.

Alll time Fave Frizz ease extra strength serum for my curly, coarse and uncontrollable hair(especially in this Queensland humidity) . Paired with the wonderful Frizz ease shampoo and conditioner and we have the perfect Ál'Natural hair!! ... Because I don't always have time to straighten in this heat! Love!!

I was totally amazed when I tried this product as nothing else had worked on my frizzy hair, Using the Frizz Easy after shampooing and conditioning makes my hair so easy to comb, only need a small amount, and I have used on dry hair as well still works great, my hair is much easier to style

I cannot rave enough about this product, I would be totally lost without it. I have been using john freida frizz ease for years with stunning results. My hair is really thick and can be prone to fizz and this serum tames my hair beautifully. This eliminates all frizz and flyaways, even in humid or damp weather. this extra strength serum is so easy to use, just apply a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub onto damp hair then style as normal. It protects hair really well from heat styling appliances and leaves a super sleek shiny style, hair is so easy to style when using this serum. The results last all day and night and I always get compliments when I style my hair using this as it gives hair a professional finish. it comes at a good price point and as you dont need to use a lot its great value for money. This is a really high quality product that I highly recommend, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product

I refuse to straighten my hair without it! This is one of the best anti frizz serums out there. It my essential foundation for straightening and curling.  The John Frieda Frizz Ease 6 effects serum works like magic while it delivers me with tamed hair that lasts all day. Restores lost my elasticity and transforms my unruly hair making it much more healthy, shiny and manageable to straighten. To apply I just use couple of pumps of this product after showering and it tames the my split ends and frizz while keeping the needed volume due to some hair loss.  It contains a pleasant scent, and applies on evenly and lightly throughout my hair. I use the John Frieda Frizz Ease 6 effects serum before and after straightening to achieve less frizz and glitzy glossy look. A fantastic remedy to protect against humid environments too. If I have straightened my hair, I won't leave home without it, especially if it's raining, I grab my comb and touch up anytime for superior smoothness and for maintaining that wanted poker straight hair in all weather conditions. 

Like most serums you only use a small amount ,however this JF frizz ease has great coverage and worked well with my hair style. I found that my hair held its style( straightened ) lasted for 3 days without getting frizzy on the ends. Bonus was the delicate fragrance which lingered as I had rubbed any left over into my skin.

I was gifted this to trial and have to say this has been my favorite product so far. I pop it in damp hair and blow out my hair.. Super shiny, frizz free and has even helped hold the style all day!. Another absolute repurchase.

Love the 6 multi effects of this Serum. Eliminates Frizz, Humidity Protection, Smoothes, Hydrates and Tames. Even love the bottle design which is quite unique like a test tube and  the clear packaging makes it easier for me to see how much product left before I need to get a new one. 1 pump of the product it's not enough for my thick hair. Love that I can apply it to my wet hair so I can use it before i use hair straightener or hair dryer. Just like the rest of the range i love the smell of this product.

I use this serum in my damp just shampooed hair. I pump a few drops and gently massage into my hair, focussing mostly on my ends. Once I use this serum, my hair feels soft and manageable. My hair is normally frizzy and I have tried many serums and oils to smooth and tame it down. This serum has a beautiful scent, like perfume, appealing, but not overpowering. My hair can now be styled anyway I choose and it looks smooth and soft. This serum doesn't weigh heavily on my hair and it makes it feel light and touchable.  This serum washes out easily and leaves my hair soft and silky again.  Pros: low priced, only need a few drops so 1 bottle lasts a long time Cons: don't use too much because it can make your hair look greasy Recommendation: this easy to use hair serum is perfect for anyone who wants a hair serum which will help their hair become more manageable and look smoother and well behaved  

I have been sent this to try and i have only used it once so far and i am in love. I only needed one pump straight after i have washed my hair. My hair has never been better has more shine and looks healthier than it ever has. Will keep using this product and highly recommend.

I have frizzy curly hair so you would think this would be perfect for my hair but alas it has not eased my frizz all that much. This serum comes in a pump bottle that looks pretty coo with a test-tube shaped centre filled with product inside a clear outer bottle/frame. This makes it easy to see how much product you have left. You apply this serum to damp hair and the directions recommend just one pump.  I find that one pump just doesn't really feel like enough for my thick curly hair so I usually use a couple of pumps. If i'm using it on naturally drying hair I find it doesn't work as well for me as my hair is just too curly and the weather is just too humid where I live. So boing, frizzy mess by the end of the day. I also don't feel any moisture being added into my hair which my hair really needs to stop the frizz. I find it works a bit better for straightened hair. I apply the serum to damp hair, let my hair dry then I straighten it and apply a  bit more of the serum. I find it seems to help keep frizz and flyaways under control for a little bit longer. Overall I find this serum is okay but as a product on it's own it just doesn't work that well for curly hair. I would recommend it more for straight or wavy frizz and flyaways.  

I have been looking for a serum but have always been hesitant as they have left my hair greasy and oily in the past. However this one is different and I only need one pump on the ends and a bit through my hair just before a blow dry helps nourish my hair and keeps it frizz free I use this a few times a week after I have washed my hair just before a blow dry/straightening.

This will replace my usual Argan Oil. It's lighter, helped hair working in humidity, and my hair was blowdried in a good amount of rather than over and over as with argan oil. It felt heat-protective, and I'll definitely re-purchase.

This serum is INCREDIBLE! You're only supposed to apply it to wet hair- which works amazing, but I also apply a very small amount to the ends of my hair when the ends are feeling dry and look horrid. Also using the finishing cremé my hair looks and feels so smooth after! This stuff works wonders and I could not go without it.
