This lightweight, long-wearing foundation is going straight in our gym bag

Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this SPF-infused offering

The product

After the year we’ve all had, the way we look at our makeup routines has forever changed.

We’re talking a focus on lightweight, barely-there makeup picks that are able to translate from the office, to working from home days, to lazy Sundays, with little to no effort in between.

That means your foundation too.

Our REVIEWcrew® recently sampled the new Revlon Light Cover Foundation: a lightweight, long-wearing fluid foundation with a low-fuss natural, soft-matte finish. Boasting an adaptable wardrobe of shades that melt into skin, it offers that undetectable flawless sheen we’re all after, plus a thoughtful addition of SPF 30. It’s a travel-friendly pick that you can pop in your gym bag or handbag for a makeup refresh.

Here’s what our panel of Review Crew® testers had to say about this hydrating, long-wearing foundation.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Revlon Light Cover Foundation to a panel of women aged 25 to 39 looking for a light-cover, everyday foundation.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Revlon Light Cover Foundation.

The lightweight formula: Our members loved how lightweight the foundation was, with a number of them saying that the fluid formula meant they only needed to dispense a small amount of product to cover their face.

The long-wear time: Many of our reviewers have to deal with a multitude of responsibilities throughout their day, so they need makeup that will keep up with them. This foundation really hit the mark according to reviews, providing an impressive wear time and comfortable soft-matte finish.

The travel-friendly packaging: A few members of the Review Crew® were quick to point out the handy travel-friendly packaging, making it a perfect pick for a quick weekend getaway or popping in a gym bag.

The verdict

“I was really surprised by this foundation. When I first poured the liquid out, it was quite watery which meant that the foundation was able to spread a lot further. I imagine that this bottle is going to last forever! Because it really is so light, I found it super easy to build on, without the foundation looking cakey... I love that it's a pour bottle, so as soon as you turn the bottle to the side the foundation instantly starts coming out making it really easy to apply. I think it's great value for money, and one I will definitely be buying again when I run out!”

“This foundation is almost like a skin tint - your skin but better! It evens out the colour and looks natural and flawless. It’s super light weight on the face and you forget you’re wearing it! I felt it photographed really nicely as well! I do wish it was a glass bottle… however the packaging would be ideal for someone who travels with makeup.”

“I was super glad that this comes with SPF as I'm trying to convert all my daily skincare to SPF. It also had very light coverage, great for light daily wear but… the thing i loved the most was the cute, compact and cute packaging. It would be great for on the go/travel purposes.”
