To compile The Hottest Beauty Brands Of 2019 report, Cosmetify considered five major factors: the increase in consumer interest as shown on Google, overall brand searches each month, the number of Instagram followers and hashtags, and the brand’s engagement rate on social media.

Without further ado, here are the hottest beauty brands of 2019.

#10 / FOREO

As a trailblazer in the beauty tech space, Swedish beauty and wellbeing brand FOREO has totally changed the game time and time again with every state-of-the-art product they launch. Our pick? The FOREO LUNA 3 which not only cleanses your face with sonic pulsations but has a range of anti-ageing massage routines to choose from, too!

#9 / Maybelline New York

Founded in 1915 by a chemist who noticed his sister applying a combination of Vaseline and coal to enhance her lashes, Maybelline New York started out as a small family-owned company. Now, it’s one of the world’s biggest beauty powerhouses thanks to its innovative formulas and extensive product range.

#8 / Rude Cosmetics

New kid on the block Rude Cosmetics was only founded in 2016 but has already built up a solid reputation for high-quality, affordable and above all fun beauty products such as its pop culture-inspired eyeshadow palettes. If you’re trying to hunt down Rude Cosmetics in Australia, try an online store like GlamaCo.

#7 / Jeffree Star Cosmetics

As the brainchild of American influencer Jeffree Star, vegan beauty line Jeffree Star Cosmetics is known for vibrant, out-there and colourful beauty products perfectly suited for creative makeup looks.

#6 / Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Jenner kickstarted Kylie Cosmetics with her famous Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits and the brand has gone from strength-to-strength since. The brand is now so popular, you can even purchase products from vending machines at Las Vegas airport!

#5 / Florence By Mills

2019 has been the year for celebrity beauty brand launches with one of the most popular new ranges being Millie Bobby Brown’s Florence By Mills. After enduring years of products that broke her skin out during her acting career, the Stranger Things actress decided to develop a range of makeup and skin care with a clean beauty focus.

#4 / Yves Rocher

Iconic French beauty brand Yves Rocher boasts a huge product offering including skin care, makeup, fragrance and body care. But, their range of botanical-enriched skin care products is what keeps us coming back for more! Sadly, Yves Rocher isn’t currently available in Australia so if you’ve got a pal heading overseas to Europe or the United Kingdom, ask them to stock up for you.

3 / MAC Cosmetics

Celeb-adored beauty brand MAC Cosmetics is said to be worn by the likes of A-listers including Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, and Elton John. Originally started as a brand for makeup professionals, the brand continues to remain at the cutting edge when it comes to product innovation.

#2 / Anastasia Beverly Hills

When it comes to brow products, we cannot go past Anastasia Beverly Hills which was of course founded by celebrity eyebrow queen, Anastasia Soare. After launching the brand with an array of bestselling brow products, Anastasia went on to develop a treasure trove of other high-end beauty buys and her extensive range now has pretty much all your makeup needs covered.

#1 / Huda Beauty

Taking out the top spot is Iraqi-American makeup artist and mega-influencer Huda Kattan’s beauty brand, Huda Beauty. Founded in 2013, her first product was a set of false lashes that were famously worn by Kim Kardashian. These days, Huda Beauty’s range has everything from foundation to lip products and Huda Beauty’s iconic eyeshadow palettes.
