11 times Adwoa Aboah redefined beauty with experimental makeup moments

We are not worthy
There have always been iconic models whose unusual quality as human canvases has allowed them to morph their style effortlessly.
Grace Jones fringed the ideals of femininity, Jerry Hall gave us glamour in all its forms, and Adwoa Aboah has undeniably redefined the benchmark for the term ‘fresh’.
Playing with equal parts feminine and masculine, the Rimmel ambassador approaches beauty with a loose interpretation of the rules, and we love her for it.
And now, Aboah has been named as Jo Malone’s new Global Ambassador, serving as the face of their signature scent English Pear and Freesia.
The new collaboration seeks to illuminate the London-born brand’s commitment to authenticity, kindness and inclusivity through mental health awareness.
“I’m very grateful for this partnership as it puts mental health at the forefront of our collaboration,” the model explained in a statement via Jo Malone.
“I’m really excited to challenge tradition, by attracting new audiences to Jo Malone London because of the values it champions.”
“I want people to know about the work that Jo Malone London has been doing for mental health charities for years and allow people to feel part of something,” she went on to say. “I’m incredibly excited about this position and the things we plan to do together."
We wait in anticipation to see the magic this mindful coupling is going to bring about.
And in the meantime? Let’s reminisce on all the times the model wowed us on the red carpet…
