This is the $57 lipstick Amal Clooney wears on the red carpet
A soft, berry-pink hue
When it comes to make-up, Charlotte Tilbury is an expert. Case in point: She’s one of the industry’s most revered make-up artists working with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Bella Hadid and has even received an MBE from the Queen.
Back in 2016, the iconic make-up extraordinaire launched Hot Lips, a collection of lipsticks named after her beauty muses. These lipsticks caught fans' attention because of their A-list shade names - but they were also made for a great cause with a portion of proceeds going to women's charity.
Now, three years later, Hot Lips 2.0 is (finally) here. For this second edition of lipsticks, Tilbury looked to 11 iconic women and men for shade inspiration and upped the charitable pledge - vowing to donate one million British pounds to charitable partner Women for Women International.
The famous names behind the lipstick monikers are as follows; Enigmatic Edward (Edward Enninful), JK Magic (J.K. Rowling), Red Hot Susan (Susan Sarandon), Dancefloor Princess (Kylie Minogue), Amazing Amal (Amal Clooney), Angel Alessandra (Alessandra Ambrosio), Glowing Jen (Jennifer Aniston), Carina’s Star (Carina Lau), Viva La Vergara (Sofia Vergara), In Love With Olivia (Olivia Palermo) and Patsy Red (Patsy Tilbury) — Charlotte’s mother, her first beauty icon and one of her biggest inspirations.
For the first time, the new Hot Lips collection will be available in refillable cases, which feature five new magical designs for the most collectable, iconic collection ever! Each case comes with a defined shade but are designed to be used interchangeably with the new Hot Lips collection.
While each hue is as covetable as the next, it's impossible to go past our favourite: Amazing Amal a soft, berry-pink hue that Clooney wore on the red carpet for the premiere of Catch-22.
Charlotte says: “Amal Clooney is the most inspiring, incredible role model. She has such a timeless poise and elegance, and she wears makeup in a very chic, effortless way! I wanted to create a soft elegant, berry-pink with the neutral-ness of warm berry, that can be used as a stain, or to add an enlivening pop of colour to any outfit. Amal would wear this to a red carpet or to make a speech.”
