Everyone seems to be launching beauty lines these days: Rihanna has Fenty Beauty, Kylie Jenner has Kylie Cosmetics, Kim Kardashian has KKW Beauty, and Michelle Pfeiffer just launched her new range of Henry James clean fragrances. Now, Ariana Grande has thrown her hat in the ring and is set to become the next celebrity to have her own beauty brand.
Ariana reportedly submitted an application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark office on April 2nd to have the phrase ‘Ariana Grande Thank U Next’ trademarked for potential beauty products. Ariana’s break-up anthem and hit single thank u, next was lauded for its positive message about much-needed self-love after a break-up and she has decided to extend this idea with a range of upcoming beauty products.
The trademark application has listed fragrances as one of her intended releases, including eau de toilettes, eau de parfums and eau de colognes, which isn’t too surprising – she’s dabbled in fragrances before with great success. Her latest fragrance release, Cloud, was one of Ulta’s best-selling perfumes last year.
But Ariana has extended her trademark application and it isn’t just limited to fragrances. It also hints at the release of body lotions, bath gels, body scrubs and body mists.
The future of breaking up suddenly feels a little sweeter!
It’s not just celebrities that are launching beauty products. Their makeup artists are getting in on the action too.
