Fashion week may be all about the fashion and beauty trends seen on the runway and backstage, but we were equally in awe of the gorgeous celebrities spotted in the front row. Here, discover the makeup and hair looks worth copying from those who were on and off duty.
Bella Hadid at Carolina Herrera Fall 2017
For Carolina Herrera’s runway show, Bella Hadid showed off the perfect subtle glam look with her velvet base, light contour, dark brown smoky eyes, and a swipe of nude lipstick.
We can’t get over Olivia Culpo’s fierce makeup at the Zimmermann show. Get the look at home with lilac eyeshadow on your eyelids, a brow powder to fill in any gaps and give your brows shape and definition, and a pink-nude lippy to finish. For cheek definition like hers, use a matte bronzer under your cheekbones, and a rosy pink blush along your cheeks.
Taylor Hill at Tory Burch Fall 2017
Keen to get on the hair accessory bandwagon? Taylor Hill’s look from the Tory Burch runway show may just convince you it’s time to give it a go. Give your low ponytail some added glamour by tying an oversized velvet bow around it, and pairing it with low-key makeup - try groomed brows, some mascara, blush, and a pale pink lippy.
The Brazilian model can do no wrong. At the Maybelline New York Welcome Party during NYFW, Adriana Lima paired her signature flawless base makeup with lashings of black mascara, a dark smoky eye, and understated pink lips to let her eyes steal the spotlight.
Hailey Baldwin at Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2017
American model Hailey Baldwin is never seen without highlighted cheekbones, and the Tommy Hilfiger show was no different. She was seen rocking the runway with bronze tones on her eyes and lips and an enviable luminous base. Basically summer in a beauty look.
At the Jonathan Simkhai fashion show, Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro was seen in the front row with a matte red lipstick that popped against her white dress and dark skin. The perfect quick beauty fix for when you want to make a statement!
Marchesa Fall 2017
This look is perfect for those who love pink makeup but don’t want to look too girly. At the Marchesa show, models wore just a wash of blue-based pink eyeshadow, and the same colour was used on the cheeks as blush.
Olivia Palermo masters the casual glam look, with her hair in loose waves and parted in the centre. If you’re trying it at home, achieve the same effect with a hair straightener, and, using small sections, bend it over then under to create that lived-in kink.
Caroline Murphy at Ralph Lauren Spring Summer 2017
Nude tones reigned supreme at Ralph Lauren’s runway. Try the same at home with a peachy bronzer, nude lip gloss, and a brow mousse to define your arches.
Nude colours ruled the runways this season – here’s how to dress up the classic colour.
