Gave the @yesto paper masks a test-drive today with mixed results 🤔 Swipe to check them out... my thoughts below! 👇 ・ 🌿 PRODUCT DETAILS 🌿 ✦ Single-use sheet masks ($3-4 each) ✦ 96% natural ingredients ✦ Silicone-free ✦ Made of biodegradable cotton ✦ Come in a bunch of different versions-calming, moisturizing, blemish-fighting, etc. ・ 🌿 MY RESULTS 🌿 ✦ So I tried the Calming Cucumber first, but had to rip it off after a couple of minutes because my face was on fire! 🔥 Even though it's described as "calming" 😂... maybe it's the alcohol denat? Or the menthol? Why are these ingredients in their "soothing" line?!?! 🙈 ✦ I had MUCH better luck with the Moisturizing Coconut mask. 🥥 It's alcohol-free and contains aloe vera juice, coconut oil, coconut juice and coconut water. I didn't find this oily, and it left my skin feeling hydrated and plump. But my skin does really well with coconut oil-it's not comedogenic for me! ・ ✦ Fit was a bit off for both... way too much fabric between the eyes ・・ ・ 🌿 OVERALL 🌿 The brand sent me these, but I would definitely pick up the coconut one again. ✅ Ok, it's no SK-II-but the ingredients are cleaner than most sheet masks, and it does the job for a very nice price! ・ ☝️ Have you tried these masks? ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・

#AHAs are another addition you can slowly ease into your daily skin care routine for glowing skin, reduced pore size, improved skin clarity and less pimples.🌟 - 🌚 AHA cream work by chemical exfoliation, unlike scrubs, Clarisionic, or other forms of mechanical microdermabrasion. AHA's also stimulate collagen and elastin- this accounts for their anti-aging and wrinkle removing properties. - 💥 NOTE: Patients with eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, or sensitive skin have to be extra careful as even low concentration AHA creams can cause skin irritation or flare up your pre-existing skin disorder! - 👉🏻 In these patients, the use of a cream is preferred compared to a serum. Mixing with a bland moisturiser can dilute the concentration of AHA from a 10 to 5 or lower. - TAKE HOME MESSAGE 🍡 start slowly. Start with a pea size drop of AHA 10 once a week. You can incorporate this into your ABC's of skin care. 📈Once you tolerate this strength you can either increase application frequency or increase the AHA strength. Obviously do not increase both at once or skin irritation will occur. 👨🏼‍🔬I have no preference for AHAs, however Neutrogena & Obaji both have a long record of making safe, well formulated AHAs- Glycolic- Lactic acid formulations- both as a peel and as a cream, and is a good starting point.

2018 is over and so are these products! So I did a video review of them (and some that aren't pictured, because I have small hands - this is the face of someone trying to look chill while 2 seconds away from dropping everything on the ground). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These are the products I've managed to finish despite road testing everything else, which is no mean feat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also talk a bit about foam and microplastics because what's a Lab Muffin video without nerdiness? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Check out my stories or the link in my bio 😀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ {PR samples} #skincarereview #skincareproducts #skincarefaves #beautuber #skincareaddiction #skincarejunkie #skincaredaily #skincare #farmacy #thebodyshop #itsskin #peterthomasroth #cleanser #cleansingbalm #peelinggel #foundation #sephoraaus

AD/ How do you tackle congested skin? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've not adjusted very well to cooler weather and... might have slept in my makeup a couple times... because it was "too cold to get my face wet." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don't @ me ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm pulling it out with new brand @aceologybeauty 's Detox Modeling Mask. More in stories, and if you want to try anything from Aceology I have a discount code for you - HANNAH15 🥰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Spoiler alert; my skin is calmed, decongested, AND hydrated. Yes. Hydrated.
