Chrissy Teigen has gone *blonde* blonde

Blonde balayage has been Chrissy Teigen’s hair colour of choice for the past couple of years. She’s mixed up the length occasionally, but she’s been faithful to the low-key hair colour trend through thick and thin.

But after a mid-summer visit to hairstylist Tracey Cunningham, Chrissy has taken the plunge and gone blonde. Like, really blonde.

Chrissy shared the experience at Cunningham’s Mèche Hair Salon, foils and all, on social media, saying: “Only @TraceyCunningham1 gets me to leave my house.”

She was spotted later in the day pairing a wide-brimmed sun hat with her new blonde cropped ‘do.

Chrissy also shared an up-close look at her new hair colour to Instagram, although in the video she seems to have ditched the short hair look in favour of extensions.

Although the maintenance on blonde hair can be a lot of work, we hope Chrissy keeps it up, as this new honey hue is *extremely* flattering on her.

Chrissy’s not the only celeb to go blonde for summer. Bella Hadid switched up her signature dark locks, too.
