How to glow all over (without looking OTT!)

How To Glow All Over (Without Looking OTT!)

It comes down to using these 4 products

When it comes to upping your face’s glow factor, there’s a fine line between dewy and radiant and looking too shiny, like you’re giving festival makeup a go for the first time. The trick is in using the right formulas in the right places. Follow our guide to applying shimmery makeup for a naturally fresh look.

Toolkit

To achieve the look, you’re going to want to equip yourself with illuminating products for the eyes, cheeks and lips. For this look, we’ve picked Dior Backstage Face & Body Glow and Glow Face Palette, NYX Professional Makeup Foil Play Cream Eyeshadow in Baroque and

Hourglass Unreal High Shine Volumizing Lip Gloss in Ignite - all of which contain super fine flecks of shimmer (for a more naturally-radiant finish) and a golden undertone to suit my medium olive skin tone.

1

Bring out your eyes

Swirl your middle finger over NYX Professional Makeup Foil Play Cream Eyeshadow in Baroque and pat it onto your eyelids.

TOP TIP: Patting the colour onto your eyelids will minimise the amount of eyeshadow fallout around your eyes.

2

Make your cheekbones pop

Then, distribute a pea-sized amount of Dior Backstage Face & Body Glow onto your fingers and blend it onto your cheekbones in a circular motion.

3

Add some more glow

With a fan brush, sweep some highlighter onto your cheekbones to really accentuate the area. (Psst… the application of Face & Body Glow first can help boost the highlighter’s longevity, especially on a hot day!).

4

Don’t forget about your lips

To finish, apply Hourglass Unreal High Shine Volumizing Lip Gloss in Ignite onto your smackers.

And you’re done!

There you have it… a glowy makeup look that makes you look naturally radiant.
