The month of June was WorldPride Month, and across the pond it cumulated into one seriously spectacular parade extravaganza that was the New York City WorldPride March.

Loads of celebs were out in full force showing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community, but our attention was firmly fixed on Danish model Josephine Skriver

Why you ask? Well, you’ll see!

The Victoria’s Secret Angel was raised by two sets of gay parents and has long been a vocal advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights.

And boy, did she show up for the march – with nothing less than one beyond-epic rainbow beauty look.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

From the candy-hued hair and colour-coordinated makeup to the mermaid scale-like glitter and *that* insane hairpiece, we cannot get enough.

Makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez was responsible for the makeup and revealed in an Instagram post that she used a range of Maybelline New York products to get the look, including Maybelline New York Total Temptation Shadow and Highlight Palette and Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink.

As for the hair, Brenton Kane Diallo custom-made Josephine’s pink and purple wig, which was topped off with a seriously fun (and delicious-looking) candy-embellished headpiece.

In a post about Josephine’s look, Diallo gushed: “You made my pride dreams come true! You magical fairy unicorn made of sugar spice and everything nice. I’m obsessed with you!”

And honestly, we’re low-key obsessed with her, too! Plus, with Splendour in the Grass just around the corner, this dreamy beauty inspo couldn’t have come at a better time.

If you need us, we’ll be over here pinning all these snaps of Josephine’s look to our festival beauty inspo Pinterest boards.
