As governments across the globe continue to encourage citizens to stay home amidst the growing spread of COVID-19, one of the many benefits to our new low-key way of life is that our favourite celebrities are quarantined with us – using social media to connect with us more so than ever.
The latest star to share some insight into how they’re passing the time while self-isolating is none other than Kim Kardashian-West, who revealed to her fans that the time at home has given her some major ideas about her next hair colour. It’s good to know that we’re not the only ones missing our colourist during this time.
The reality star and KKW Beauty mogul took to Instagram to let her 164 million followers know that she has plans to return to platinum blonde when quarantine is over. Alongside a throwback photo, Kardashian-West’s caption read "My hair is gonna be so healthy after this quarantined time. Contemplating dying it blonde when we can have human interaction again.”
As we all know, the Kardashian-Jenner clan are no strangers to changing up their hair colour. Even Kim herself has frequently gone back and forth between blonde and her natural colour for a while now, although it has been quite a while since she sported a complete platinum look.
Her long-time trusted hairstylist Chris Appleton was clearly on board with Kim’s plans, approving her decision to go blonde again in the photo’s comment section. “You know my answer," he wrote.
While we’re not exactly sure how long we have to wait to see Kim’s latest do, you best believe we’ll following hers – and Chris Appleton’s – Instagram’s closely once self-isolation is over.
